What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility in driving the data between the offline and online systems and relatively easy logic of the activation
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some technical disadvantages coming from the data model and sometimes hard path to make it compatible with our systems
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved the systematic and organizational disconnection by driving the digital marketing campaign audiences from a central hub. The benefits are mainly more streamlined and smart communication with our users on our digital platforms

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to segment our audiences allows us deliver differentiated messages real time cross device which is pivotal in building 121 relationships with our audiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration has taken longer than expected due to whitelisting issues with search engines on the activation points but this is being resolved and theTealium Team were very helpful in resolving these issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to personalize our relationships with our audiences and build loyalty in addition to building our own 0 and 1st party data audience segments which supports our ROI efforts.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to build relevant customer profiles based on digital and offline activity
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface can be a little daunting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The customer profile being shown to sales agents when speaking with customers provides insight and opens opportunities for cross and up-sell that would previously not have been discussed. It also means that no-contact quoting is more relevant.
Additionally using AudienceStream allows for a far more managed online advertising budget - excluding existing customers from paid advertising and building more targeted retargeting campaigns.

What do you like best about the product?
Many different connectors available.
Defining our target audiences and sending information to the data layer.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I could do it over, I would definitely not choose to buy Tealium. The Salesforce connector has been down for 3 months, and the customer support team has been very slow to help. It's basic functionality we need. Tealium introduced a production bug that stopped it from working, and it's still not working. Their answer has been "just wait longer" -- they built a workaround that covers half the functionality we need, and took about 2 months to build the workaround. So we bought another system to cover this functionality.

Implementation took a long time. When we started, we didn't even have access to the app for 2 full weeks. Again, the answer is "just wait longer -- we're working on it and we think it's not a big deal."

In general the user interface has been hard for the team to learn, and tough to edit and maintain. The way orchestration works -- every event must be connected to an audience, which means we have dozens of audiences specific to the connections they're driving. It just means lots of work to set up something fairly straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to orchestrate updates among a few connectors
Storing visit data in one place is helpful to visualize visit behavior using a separate BI tool

What do you like best about the product?
After getting used to it, the level of customization goes way deeper than other TMSs. This is great for power users. The handy custom tools are great but I also wish they would just be features. As a platform, it's relatively easier to troubleshoot compared to GTM.
What do you dislike about the product?
Version control is too rigid and still allows for mistakes (human error) to happen. The UI gets sluggish for larger profiles. There's also an unpredictable delay (related to caching) when publishing a new profile. The filtering and sorting options could be improved. Mass editing is impossible without the custom tools and even then it's not as precise as it needs to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It does the job as advertised
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get comfortable with editing the tag templates. Regularly check for updates to tag templates. Get very familiar with debugging on the front end using breakpoints - this will save you a lot of time. Often, the issue with tags is not obvious in the UI.

What do you like best about the product?
We have paired the AudienceStream product with their Private Cloud which enables the tool to be HIPAA and Privacy Compliant. This is a game changer for our organization
What do you dislike about the product?
As a non technical developer type, the tool does take some time to get used to
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to track our customers through our solutions as well as build audiences that we were unable to do before hand because of HIPAA and Privacy issues. Now that we are able to see who is dropping off in certain sensitive areas of our website. We now can send our customers reminders. We are also using the tool to help with Personalization as well as Audience stitching.

What do you like best about the product?
Many out-of-the-box integrations makes it easy to start streaming data to partners.
Non-developers can setup and manage EventStream.
Robust integration with TiQ and support for source-agnostic data streams makes the platform extremely flexible for any and all use cases.
Real-time data stream view makes it easy to see data in and data out.
Error reporting and live trace feature makes it easy to troubleshoot issues.
Time savings to update APIs = positive ROI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation could be more robust for certain partners and creating many event feeds can be tedious - a duplicate feature would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time data streams and vendor API integration and management. Tealium ES has helped us circumvent the need for internal builds and continuous maintenance of vendor/partner APIs.
Tealium has empowered our marketing team to take control of their API's and ensure we're maximizing our speed to market of new features and staying ahead of the various data fidelity resulting from the loss of cookies.
Taking our data streams server-side has helped preserve our media measurement and analytics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great product that pays for itself. Once you are set up and running, you can trust the API's will be maintained and updated on a regular cadence. No stress, no mess.

Tealium AudienceStream CDP

What do you like best about the product?
AudienceStream gives us the ability to expand on the data we are already capturing about our current and prospective students from our websites and all other data points and then take the data and combine them to create badges and audiences, which then allows us to enhance user experience.
The 200+ native server-side API integrations allow us to activate data in real-time and expand the reach of all the data we collect and the new audiences we create - we are no longer limited to only using this data on our site directly, instead we can pass this information effortlessly through to other tools such as Salesforce Email Studio, Google Adwords, Salesforce Journey Builder, etc. to increase the relevance of our other marketing and intervention efforts. I am personally a fan of the Trace tool, Trace allows you to isolate a specific test case and view a log of how it gets processed in AudienceStream.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know that the tool is not meant for reporting, but the ability to do more data visualization would be very helpful while trying to make segments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily to orchestrate our existing marketing initiatives and create automated marketing actions based on real-time user behavior

What do you like best about the product?
the technical support, especially with a small team. Ability to work with other vendors in the marketplace and have technical support communicate with vendors regarding issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
some tools are not always reliable, the tool for google chrome is not always operational. The CSS selector tool will just not work out of the blue for no reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Site speed improvements by moving things from being hard coded on site to tealium. Quickly adding and removing pixel's for specific vendors on site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
make sure when setting up the account there is some type of record regarding the logic of why everything has been done the way it is. This legacy data will be highly beneficial when there is employee turnover and issues in the future.
