Good platform for data processing
What do you like best about the product?
Atlan has been a great software to use. It is a user-friendly data democratization platform which allows for teams to collaborate on projects. It also allows for us to automate certain manual tasks to make it less susceptible to error. This also makes the work much less time-consuming. With Atlan, it’s easy to integrate other data sources, which is super convenient and unique compared to other platforms. It’s made our team overall more effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is user-friendly after you learn how to use it, Atlan isn't the easiest platform for onboarding and training new employees. It can be tough to train and have a new employee master the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Data Governance at best price to performamce
What do you like best about the product?
Atlan is chosen because of the price to performance. This tool is developed from a user perspective. The implementation process is very flexible, and the support received was impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with third-party applications needs to be improved. More features need to be added and automated. There are not many cons that can be pointed out, might experience some on the road.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Protect and mask data in a secure way without causing any hindrance. Organize and maintain the curated marketing data. This helps in a smooth process and increased productivity.

Atlan is a great tool to organize your datasets with good integrations and metadata.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that need to be implemented, especially for working on datasets with the team.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that everything can be automated with robust and efficient APIs that Atlan offers! This fulfills our leadership vision without making our dev's life difficult. Also sharing data assets across the teams for discussions, reviews and troubleshooting has become very easy. Love the tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
No issues or suggestions as such. Their team is doing great and the support is readily available whenever we need them so great work and kudos to them! Go for it guys!

What do you like best about the product?
THe best thing about Atlan is the time saving it allowed our business to have when we were standardising our data. The ability to search natural phrases made finding assets a breeze, and the SQL search allowed very specific instances of data collection
What do you dislike about the product?
We sometimes have to find workarounds for our API-based queries. This isn't really the fault of Atlan, but more so with the API providers not being as supportive as they could/should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It aligns our entire data flow into one unified source - allowing the easy catalogue and searching of data flows from multiple sources around our ERP systems. Its speeding up our set-up time, and minimising mistakes based on faulty data
Atlan keeps quality and data integrity as priority
What do you like best about the product?
Quality was maintained throughout the process. The feature were very intuitive and helpful in finding the needs in selection tab. This makes scheduling very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Third party integration need improvement. It was quite low in performance and insome time makes confusion. The support teams also need some application walkthrough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main reason is price, for this price range it providing excellent performance and solves significant needs at much more reasonable price compared to other applications.

What do you like best about the product?
With growing data, data cataloguing is must for every organisation and atlan does that perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
As it is relatively not matured, APIs needs more exploration

Their data catalog is good. They have open source. I like their conferences.

Their conferences are not very well organized, or sometimes the speakers are not as good.

What do you like best about the product?
Atlan provides an intuitive interface, affordable licencing scheme, ever-increasing list of compatible data/metadata/raw code platforms and meaningful customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Atlan's dependency on APIs to connect to source systems can sometimes lead to missing features and affect user experience, although through no fault of its own. This is because API vendors, such as big industry names, do not always prioritise API-related tickets or bug fixing, thus requiring Atlan and customers to find workarounds.
