Super Data!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how awesome Segment can help me determine many data points for our customer base to get the most accurate representation of what devices or issues are customers are having.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, Segment does a great job of providing the information that is needed! I can honestly say that I don't dislike anything about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems I am solving with Segment is being able to determine customer data and putting it all together to help identify specific customer trends depending on the devices they are using.

All your data in one place
What do you like best about the product?
Extreamly easy implementation. We had this up and running in our code base in less than a day with very little ongoing support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Less about Segment it's self, but it would be helpful if more tools used segment data and were able to push their content out to Segment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all our data in one place makes it super easy to try out new analytics tools with little to no effort with the ability to immediately see their impact.
Very easy to use - lots of possibilities

I love how segment allows me to drop in one line of code and send data to an array of resources and applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very Expensive and they don't have the best customer care. But honestly, the product is great, I would use them again.

Sending data to one resource and piping it to many other apps and services
Making data integrations accessible for all
What do you like best about the product?
Segment allows non-technical users to easily integrate tracking source data with well-known third-party services/products. This removes the dependency from tech/engineering and allows, for example, a marketing department to customize client-side integrations with marketing channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not every third-party source or destination is available. Segment provides generic integrations through Functions, but this requires technical programming knowledge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Segment helps us integrate our Tracking sample data and other source data to synchronize to our data warehouse easily. From the data warehouse, we can then perform any additional transformations as needed.
A must have analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about it is the way it integrates seamlessly to other software every company already uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
For larger clients, pricing can be super expensive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross product analytics. With Segment, it's easy to monitor events from our web app and marketing website and consume the data in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Segment will help you track complicated funnels within your app/website, and the implementation is super easy.
Best cross platform integration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to understand, and its UI is also simple. Just an excellent tool for the cross platform; just go for it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's slow loading for the filter segment. Rest all good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for the cross-tool channel, and we are handling it efficiently. Provides excellent security, and debugging the live feed is very simple.

The simplicity of use, good instruction, SDKs, and virtualized interfaces are all benefits.
The simplicity with which sources and endpoints may be added, whether or not there is direct compatibility with Segment.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much at all! Although the UI changes have indeed been significant, this would've been a source of contention in the earlier.

The source of info: for instruments, data consistency across marketing tools, and session comprehension are all important considerations.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend a significant amount of time developing a plan in advance. Know and understand the database schema. It is extremely simple to fall into the trap of modification as a result of frequent technical errors.
Easy to use, easy to learn how it works
What do you like best about the product?
Segment Middlewares, they help you to approach some special or complex solutions
What do you dislike about the product?
Some limitations for those destinations you need to use with different pixel or campaign ids (like Google Pixel, FB Pixel...)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, we have a tool for connecting all data-based libraries and pixels (Adobe, Google Pixel, Criteo, Braze...) from our website and, the best of all, everything is following a unique tagging plan.

I like how easy it is to instrument and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
None, at this time. I like everything about segment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using a CDP has allowed clients to cohort users and to clean the data funneling into downstream tools. One SDK versus many is so handy.

Customer Support is very helpful.

So easy to push events into new platforms, avoiding duplicated work
What do you dislike about the product?
If you only care about a few integrations, it can be a bit confusing to get the specific information you want
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Event tracking - we pushed events from all platforms into Amplitude and Braze in one go
