Although Branch was able to deliver on multiple fronts, it was unable to support all our needs.
What do you like best about the product?
Branch does provide weekly email updates on mobile performance, providing high level overview on link clicks, installs, re-opens, and web sessions. This helps give us a quick look on trends and gives us capabilities to explore the data in more detail.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there were a lot of pros to Branch, ultimately we felt like it did not fully support our needs, particularly across mobile marketing efforts. There was difficulty across integration and limitations on data capacity to support our intiatives and evaluate performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Originally, we leveraged Branch for attribution and mobile marketing, particularly across our organic marketing efforts.

Affordable, flexible and functionable!
What do you like best about the product?
Branch has the best balance of function and price that we have found for a growing startup. Competitors are charging up to $0.05 per install, Branch is far more competitive while still providing the important core functionality that an app business requires.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find something to disliek here - there's no urgent support line with the lower tier plan. At this pricepoint you have to make a tradeoff somewhere so this is totally understandable (and quick support was not really necessary for us)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Attribution with multiple paid traffic sources
Great tool for collecting attribution data ... where Google Firebase fell short of its promise
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup. Lots of configuration choices. Good integration with webengage makes it easy to track all users and user data in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep learning curve for this tool. Easy to learn from tutorials are missing. Freemium plan lacks enough options to really test out the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Attribution data for users signing up from various channels is missing and/or inconsistent in firebase. Need something more reliable and comprehensive that works across all websites and tools, esp social media.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful about Branch is the ability to deep-link mobile users through the App Store and maintain analytical data after they install the app. Typically deep links (or universal ones) can keep URL data if the app is installed, but that's not the case when the app is not yet installed. Branch makes keeping the data through the App Store a breeze. Moreover, the data export APIs make integrating the Branch data into your data warehouse.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the API could use a bit more documentation. Also, when we changed to a custom domain, our old links wouldn't appear with the new domain in the dashboard. Other than that, everything's great.

We're solving two problems: mobile app user acquisition and maintaining intents through the App Store.

It is easy to use, easy to instrument, and easy to drive web to mobile traffic

Easy and simple integration, customer support is on point.

We are mainly using it for tracking.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the setup was straightforward but the benefits that Branch allows us to achieve are unparalleled. Our onboarding process is now so seamless and it would have taken a lot of resources to achieve the same effect internally.

So far, testing the deferred links are still quite troublesome and it is hard to tell sometimes what behaviours will be like in production
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an enterprise product, but our end users are individuals. We need to be able to offer our end users a seamless onboarding process without our end users needing a lot of manual input for authentication and verification of what company they are part of. Branch allows us to create custom QR codes and by scanning them, offer verification but also seamless activation for our end users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Branch for those who would like greater control of the touchpoints and user journey of your products

One of the best deep linking and mobile attribution platforms out there. Wide variety of learning and support resources. Exceptional support - that matters!

There have been instances when we felt the documentation be more descriptive or clear.

Essentially, mobile attribution and deep linking in various use cases - sms to app linking, campaign tracking, among others

We really liked the deep linking feature. Overall, Branch is quite user-friendly and straightforward. The pricing is fair. The customer support is always helpful.

Pretty easy to create links and attribute them from downloads

The SDK (React-Native) is pretty delicate. You need to have a good, structured approach to capture the user's first entry correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Install attributions. We have many influencers promoting our app, and it's easy to tell who is coming into our app.
