What do you like best about the product?
Supports a great number of different platforms on various architectures.
It is very easy to integrate and get everything up and running.
It is free to use so represents a significant saving on other solutions.
Support for the product is excellent and there is a large friendly community of users
They have lots of great ideas for improving acquisition and retention and regularly provide links to helpful articles and case studies to assist in improving our apps.
They have a very accessible and knowledgeable support team who go above and beyond to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, seems to have done everything we have needed to. We will be looking at utilising more features in future products. The dashboard needed some work but the new one is being released very soon and can already be used by following a link which improves things no end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting users directly to the area they need to be at and reporting back to us what works well. Easy to setup and integrate allows us to use lots of external links to acquire users and send them directly to the point in the app we wish to. This has helped with acquisition and retention for users that may otherwise have churned since we were able to entice them back to the product with a deep link directly to an item of interest.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Given us everything we need and free so far

What do you like best about the product?
Provides a good number of features to market, track and review important business data. Free SMS for download are the best features. It has two separate options for testing and live which are excellent. Creating a new link is super easy. Link settings page is very easy to configure for ios or android or desktop behavior. Quick link page shows the numbers of clicks and installs even the reopen count.
Referrals of Branch is another nice feature where you can see the influencers as well as the referred user count. Cross-channel analytics also very useful for tracking the campaigns in a nutshell. Setting up Branch SDK in iOS or Android projects are very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lot of conversions. Sometimes it's tough to understand for new comers. UserID, BranchID and ID sometimes creates confusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking referrer via the referral link. We can find individual referrer as well as the referred user count. It helps us to track and measure the effectiveness of our campaigns. Branch with Fabric makes our life easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend.

Solve many problems for mobile app marketers

  • November 10, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We found Branch as a way to address some issues with campaign attribution and deep linking when marketing mobile/multi-platform apps. Essentially,
1. Managing the logic to determine whether a campaign click should resolve to the installed app or to the relevant App Store to download the app first.
2. If the respondent already has your app, they can be taken to a specific location within it - great for nurturing/onboarding campaigns.
3. It maintains the necessary tokens and identifiers to associate in-app actions and post-download continuity back to the campaign originating from the click.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any solution in this space, it's a bit natural to scratch your head. I wouldn't consider this as 'dislike', the branch does a great job of simplifying it as much as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
"Linking application users to marketing campaigns"
