Great breakdowns and insights of trends and stats
What do you like best about the product?
The analytics breakdown of data by user at the most granular level, as well as being able to follow the exact path they were taking. It provides a lot of insight into anything we might need to do/change.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching for an individual analytic isn't sometimes the easiest thing in the world. It works but it feels like it could be easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding out exactly how our users use the platform and exactly how much impact brand new features have on the business side. We're able to track how things are performing and whether those things are solving the right things

Great out of the box analytics.
What do you like best about the product?
Autocapture is amazing - being able to dig into insights of things that happened in the past is extremely valuable. Furthermore, it integrates with common A/B testing software like VWO to let you view behaviors by experiment groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot of friction in creating new events. when you do want to dig deeper into when something is happening, they sometimes have suggestions that you can leverage to add more steps to a funnel (as an example). Still, if you wanted to create your own additional step, you'd have to exit your funnel and create the event elsewhere, then come back, and it is easy to forget to come back or get distracted by a slack message and never get that insight you had an idea about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use heap to get a great deal of quantitative data on what happens on our website. It does not integrate with our backend to see metrics like monetization, but it's straightforward for a non-technical person to go in and learn a TON about user behavior without relying on a dedicated data analytics teammate.
Been great to start tracking data. Especially data we haven't defined yet.
What do you like best about the product?
Love that heap tracks data that wasn't defined. So as soon as you define things. You have the data from when you implemented the code into your site. I love being able to identify buttons without having to ask dev.
What do you dislike about the product?
The suggested naming structure can make it hard to build graphs with labels that make sense. Since my dev didn't have great ways to distinct buttons, there are many instances that I will need to have dev create a custom attribute to help me better identify a few elements on our site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Daily active users. Understanding where our users are spending the most time. Knowing how many and which buttons are being used.
New to heap but UI is great!
What do you like best about the product?
Visually, Heap has a sleek and simple design. I like that everything has the appropriate icon and is clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more interactivity when first signing on. It would be great if users had the option to go into a training mode that explained features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm still fairly new to Heap so I'm not in any problem-solving phases yet. When my program is up and running I will be able to identify areas where we need more support to impact revenue.
Essential for Understanding User Behaviors
What do you like best about the product?
Heap has helped us understand the usage of our product, where users go, how they interact, and more. It has been really useful. I also love the fact that they have suggested reports, so it helps you ask (and answer) questions you may not have even thought of.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that I dislike with Heap specifically. It is a large and powerful product so it takes a good amount of time to understand it and be able to use it effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Heap we have finally been able to understand behaviors within our product. We have insights that we haven't before, so we can be more educated when making decisions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Heap is critical for us to test out different aspect of our product and how often users interact with them

Software seems very powerful - I need to become better at utilizing it.
What do you like best about the product?
It has such a wide range of capabilities. It seems like if you know how to use the software it is extremely powerful. I wish I had more time to learn. Our support rep has been very helpful when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have struggled to know how to pull the information that I need. I also think it can be difficult with multiple users in the system creating new events and tags, it feels like we are stepping on each others toes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now able to back up our product feature enhancements with customer data and metrics. This is very powerful when presenting to leadership and other team members.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to set-up time and resources for training. The software is very powerful but not completely intuitive. Need someone who is good at learning programs.
