What do you like best about the product?
Super helpful insight; really nice that I can use other team members' dashboards to pull my own data without making changes to their work
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit of a learning curve in creating a dashboard from scratch vs using an existing one, but I'm sure taking the time to go through some trainings for Heap would solve this quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What content is pulling engagement and what is not. It helps me make decisions what how/when/what to feature.

That the Event Visualizer isn't currently available for React Native ios apps

An attractive product with pitfalls

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it captures all click interactions and pageviews automatically is great. It also has a number of integrations with other services that are very helpful for data collection.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is so dependant on css tags that a lot of popular web development tools require additional work to get consistent results. The visual explorer was not working for months and may still not work, and was a big initial selling point. The tool sells itself based on being light on engineering in order to get use, but often ends up requiring quite a bit of engineering to use properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us easily get data from Shopify when we didn't have dedicated data engineering resources. It has let us provide simple, close to live reporting on what's going on with our website, which is of particular value around the holiday sales season.

Happy with this product, this allows me to gain insight on how users are interacting with our platform, what actions they are taking.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not direct way to query the exact clicks that users are taking in the platform, I have to build an ugly sql query to surface this information

What do you like best about the product?
How granular the data can be, it's great to see which parts of our platform are being utilized the most by our clients and which are not.
What do you dislike about the product?
How hard it can be to create reports, the tool is highly complicated to use. We had either a consultant or someone designated to show us around the platform, and even with their tutorial, it was still confusing to create my reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been useful to identify what the different use cases are for our products and how different teams utilize our data such as who is viewing what and how.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Utilize the support that is offered either internally or through heap's own training session.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it gives you the ability to create funnels for various events and lets you track drop offs at each stage of the funnel. WOnderful product for product teams to reduce drop off at each stage of the product. It would have been even more wonderful, if it does some of the tasks like a hotjar or vwo does and gives the ability to A/B test various flows in the product
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike. It is a great product but might be a bit costly. The integrations with snowflake or other tools if given on a cheaper price for smaller organisations would be wonderful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us answer a lot of questions with regard to the product like how customers use our product, understand where they are facing issues and even helps us prioritize tasks. Great tool for product designers, marketers and managers

What do you like best about the product?
Heap allows users to define segments and collect data per agency/account. In addition, there is also a 'live' feature where it lets you record a specific event in your application, and it will record that particular action. This feature is very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is a bit complicated to use. It's also confusing to define and filter graphs, so it's not intuitive as it may seem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are looking at the different ways our clients use our platform, and we can also measure the number of people who log into our platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Heap enables team members to run analysis on a wide variety of site metrics and funnels – and does so in a way that is user-friendly to those not well versed in data analytics or our backend setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be hard to know which defined event is the correct one to use – we have had Heap for a while and so there are several events named similarly. I also don't love the chart saving mechanism – it can be a little clunky and I wish I had a dashboard to view several saved charts at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to use Heap to get quick metrics on how a page is performing even when we struggle to find that information in Google Analytics. We also use Heap to analyze the conversion funnel for various pages we have.

Easy-to-use no-code product analytics tool

What do you like best about the product?
Heap has a very intuitive platform that requires zero development support to track and analyze key events that users take within your product. I love how I can setup a comprehensive dashboard for a feature to help my team measure success of new enhancements or brand new product launches. Furthermore, Heap provides suggested analysis and reports to help you consider ways to look at usage data you may not have considered yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a blessing and a curse, but there is so much functionality in Heap that sometimes I feel like I'm not leveraging it fully. For example, there is a "Live" feature that provides a live stream of user events with long the product. I'm sure they built it for a reason, but I'm not sure how to best use that feature to help my team achieve its goals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned above, I am a PM and use this to aid in discovery work as well as tracking success of new feature and product deployment. It has also been helpful to analyze the MAU and general engagement across our entire platform.
