Accelerate time-consuming business processes in your company.
What do you like best about the product?
The tools to develop applications using Macros within the Alteryx interface are very complete, you can also perform large-scale data analysis, the software has a great scope and can be implemented by large companies. The SDK tools are without a doubt another outstanding feature of the product. The data mining function for demographic and behavioral analysis is another positive feature of the program, it even allows you to standardize emails by geocoding. Hosted entirely in the cloud, the ease of retrieving data or sending is another reason why I admire the product achieved by Alteryx.
What do you dislike about the product?
The design for user interface tools can be better developed, I would also like to pay a little less for the product, I think there are cheaper alternatives in the market, however, I would still use Alteryx as it is a very complete program. The organization of data through reports can be improved, as well as the organization of the tools by workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our company we needed to automate data analysis, and we were tired of using SQL tools, so thanks to this program we were able to automate our entire process of data collection, cleaning and preparation. We have also been able to project more optimal business results with predictive models. We were generating a lot of manual reports that were recurring in the company, so we decided to improve our services and free up time and manpower, Alteryx helped us with the creation of workflows that automate all repetitive processes that we now run on their cloud server.

Manage large volumes of data in the Alteryx Cloud.
What do you like best about the product?
As a software developer, Alteryx's cloud design is really complete and adapts to my needs, I can analyze and categorize my clients' data, as well as assign digital promotions, all this totally in the cloud. It has a powerful system to create applications with CSV entries, the workflow is also very complete being able to store a lot of data and upload it all together. It is very customizable in fact when creating my applications it offers many attractive themes, I can add many colors to my designs. Alteryx also has a great academy for those who have little knowledge of the use of the service in general, I have been able to interact with the community and I feel very satisfied. It offers a great variety of machine learning methods, you just upload the data and the AI takes care of everything. The KPI deep dive reports are very complete and well-structured, and you can perform correlation analysis, it is a possibly the most complete service I have tried.
What do you dislike about the product?
Throughout my experience using Alteryx there are few complaints I have about the program, I really enjoy using it, especially the cloud version. A recommendation could be to improve the price, it is a very expensive service and not many companies can afford it, maybe in the future with updates to add more customization and a multi-language program. The cloud server can get stuck if you do not have a stable data connection, however, I consider that this is not irrelevant, but it is mandatory to take it into account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I started using this service because of the need to have a more extensive designer cloud, as I am currently developing some marketing and finance applications. Since implementing Alteryx, my development time has been reduced by almost half, as its automation and data analysis tools save me a lot of time in the office. This program has also positively influenced the preparation and combination of data for our IT department by generating detailed reports and data analysis. Definitely, Excel in our company has been completely discarded since we have this powerful software.

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive UX where the computation progress is shown to us live and the built in tool like time Formaters, filters and Joins facilitate the work of doing data cleansing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is a strong and powerful tool, it is not a tool for one day job so it can be pricey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It breaks down the ETL process visually, processes massive amounts of data very quickly, and allows multiple data sources to interact with each other which has made reporting very convenient.

Low code / no code environment. Intuitive. Very short learning curve. Amazing online community. Free self-paced learning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Macros (functions and loops in other tools/languages) can be difficult to master, with limited help options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation for any business process that includes multiple systems and/or data sources. Very easy data prep and data wrangling. Integration with tools like Tableau.
Data analysis automation, intelligent business solution for your company.
What do you like best about the product?
First, I want to highlight the graphical interface, which is really very attractive in the visual section, with all its components and tools well distributed. Another aspect to take into account is that it has levels of complexity for each user; for less expert users, there are default modules that can be used from the Alteryx cloud. I also like that it has two options for use. I have been able to use both the desktop version and the one in the cloud, and I must say that both are excellent. The speed of the financial predictive models is really excellent; I have been able to analyze multiple records in a very short time. The data connectivity is another highlight of this software; I have been able to connect to several databases and formats. They constantly warn through notifications of errors that then debug them; they are always very attentive to the service, for which I want to highlight the support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few things that I dislike about this service, but I want to let you know that its price is not economical; in fact, it is quite expensive software compared to other financial solutions I have implemented. Alteryx consumes a lot of resources, both in the desktop version and the one developed in the cloud, so I recommend a good data rate. On the creative side, it would be useful to be able to have custom maps. They offer a good variety of templates for this; however, many times our customers want to see different things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx has allowed us to improve our business intelligence; we have improved our data analysis with quality automation, and it has brought us incredible financial benefits, especially in our financial department, where we can see changes in the statistical analysis that we provide as a software business. I would also like to highlight their reliability in internal data collection, which has allowed us to see the impact of the development of the applications we create for the most demanding users in the industry. In the sales area, we have also improved significantly with the services provided by Alteryx, being able to better organize our business management and invoices.
The Leading Application to improve speed of Data Transformation.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful is the ability to quickly perform complex adjustments to my data. This application has saved us time and resources especially on creating workflows. It's an amazing software that doesn't require any coding user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alteryx sometimes slow when dealing with big data. This is something that can be worked on and get solved.

Create data models faster and easier with Alteryx.
What do you like best about the product?
I would like to start by highlighting that Alteryx has powerful data manipulation capabilities. I would also like to add that its interface is very easy to understand and use, and it also has a community that is always ready to help at all times when needed. Data processing is another thing it does very well. I have been able to cover large financial analyses using the cloud version. There is a great variety in data transformation modes, making it easier to understand. As an analyst, I have been able to handle a large flow of complex data, and since implementing this service, I have had better performance in these jobs. I want to add that it has multiple formats for reading from different sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some errors in the basic functionality and the translation into SQL format have thrown me some errors, but I have done much better integrating data with Python. I have been lucky enough to test both versions, and I think the cloud version needs to be much more polished; the desktop version, despite being more complete, can become more expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has favored the consumption of financial data by our company. We used to use Excel, but it was very complicated to process data from our customers. We advise on many financial issues, so we replaced the tedious Excel reports with Alteryx getting better performance and improving the service provided to our customers. As a financial analyst, I used to spend hours running business processes. With this software, I have been able to simplify and automate the whole process, saving time and providing more accurate data for presentation.
Reliable Data Blending and Processing Platform.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful is the ability this product has to blend very well and manipulation of multiple data sources. The application is user friendly and easy to use with a intuitive graphical interface. I like how the application integrates various data sources into one system foe ETL process and analysis of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application cannot allow you to run any any other task with the input file open. They can allow this aspect so that at least we can be able to compare.

Alteryx has streamlined and improved report turn around times through the automation of data preparation.
Data management and automation in the cloud.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very easy to use, offering the best options for calculation that I have been able to test in the cloud. The option to combine two spreadsheets is my favorite, as I can put them together in a single file. The selection tool is quite useful for organization; I can rename, reorder, modify data types, and add column descriptions. The community is another of the strengths of this service; they are always available to help and give tips on how to use the tools correctly, especially to those who are just starting out. The academics with interactive lessons are a marvel; I have learned a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
They offer two types of plans: one completely in the cloud and another for desktops. The price difference is not much; however, for some companies, the cost can be striking. For integration tools, I have done very well with AWS, but it leaves much to be desired with respect to Python. Better tools are displayed, especially in the version offered in the cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly for data visualization, data preparation, and automation, we totally eliminated manual and repetitive tasks from our services, saving a lot of time in providing better data management support and always verifying the integrity and quality of everything we offer. We have achieved more comprehensive data cleansing, which has really helped us a lot using Alteryx, allowing us to make better decisions that have allowed us to grow and offer better technology services.

What do you like best about the product?
Preforming data preparations and cleansing data from the source applications and using it the same for visualization and preparation dashboards by integrating with other visualization tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Identifying and using nodes in alteryx is ease to use but sometimes memory errors occurs when running some huge raw data in alteryx workflows. These sometimes is problematic as it takes a he'll lot of time.

Using Alteryx manual repetitive tasks are automated and saved lot of time which enables users to manage time more productive and more efficiently. Also, it enables user to run the workforce by single click of button.
