A great platform that makes data analytics easy
What do you like best about the product?
it is very user friendly and capable of solving complex problems under a simple user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are really no downside to using the platform. If I had to mention one, it would be that the Alteryx Gallery isnt all that intuitive and bugs out a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of having to understand where exactly one goes wrong during development so that fixes can be seamless and easily manageable. It benefits me greatly because I have significantly been able to reduce time spent trying to come to a comprehensive solution to problems and business questions or needs.

Its satisfying the small amount of time it takes to bring value to the table

Easy to use, intuitive, have all the basic tools to cover common use cases
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations done with third parties such as Google Input, Publish to Tableau are either slow or breaks very often
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating a lot of previously manual process and saved me a ton of time.
Intuitive Analytics for Everyone
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx has been a game changer for my analytics work. Before, I would spend hours writing complex SQL queries and manually manipulating data in programs like MS Excel. Now, I can clean and query data quickly and painlessly with Alteryx's suite of tools. This program powers decision making in our organization and I am so happy to have the chance to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alteryx has very few downsides. Licenses might be expensive for smaller companies. There is a bit of a learning curve for more complex operations that will take time to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team faced issues with recurring requests that were taking time away from other tasks that needed to be completed. Alteryx gave us the power to automate the request responses and improve productivity during the busiest parts of the week.

I have been training to be a data scientist for 6 months now and I utilize Alteryx almost every day.
What do you like best about the product?
You do not have to be a coder to understand how to use the tool; it is very seamless and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be hard to picture what the work flow needs to look like when you want to solve a business problem.

Automating and streamlining our processes, as well as helping us prepare data for our Commerce Marketing Mix that we send to our clients

What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx allows you to easily pull and cleanse data and automate all of your data related processes. They have a great community to help you learn and find solutions when you run into issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything that I dislike. I've always been able to find a solution for any problem that I found.

Cleansing and pulling data from multiple sources and prep for sending to consultants.

Learning path doesn't have a structure for ML engineers

Alteryx the perfect tool for Automating Data Processes
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is drag and drop and easy to use regardless of users technical skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative I have about Alteryx is that I wish it had more formulas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently using it Alteryx to clean and manipulate webscraped data to prepare it for loading into Databricks.
Easy to Learn!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how anyone can begin using Alteryx right away. It speeds up any analysis I am trying to complete. Once you start using Alteryx, it is hard to go without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
With large datasets, it can be challenging to work with long execution times. Not every tool can be cached. I wish you could save a workflow with the stored cache to help mitigate this issue. I also find Alteryx challenging to work on a single laptop screen; its interface is best used on a wider screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The scalability of Alteryx Applications allows our team to create workflows that can benefit other departments. Data solutions can be built very quickly with Alteryx.

Alteryx makes tedious data exploration, blending, and analysis tasks as easy as drag and drop. 200 lines of code becomes a few flicks of the wrist.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing may be steep for some organizations and there have been issues with licensing of upsold products or add-ons

Alteryx helps me bridge the gap between less technical analysts and master data scientists. Complex modeling can be accomplished easily
