Different tools for data preparation. We can also schedule the workflows

Great Tool for Data Manipulation - No code
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use. I really enjoy the Alteryx community and cases posted by the users. They also provide short online videos that support new users. I have experience with SAS and Galvanize (ACL) but Alteryx is way easier and have great functionalities. Alteryx customer service is also great! Anytime I have a question I schedule a quick meeting or send an email to Scott Jones (Thank you Scott).
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the visualization is not the greatest, but honestly I do not need that feature. I heard other customers using Tableau and Alteryx together to get best results (data manipulation + visualization). The price for the server version is also higher and unfortunately you need the serve option in order to schedule workflows runs. I manually have to push my weekly reports every Friday.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm implementing audit controls via AlteryX analyzing 100% population.

I strongly recommend to download the 14 days trial and to watch the online videos.

What do you like best about the product?
Great software for ETL. Very user friendly and hands on learning with an active community of users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data is linear so can take some getting used to. Can have several different ways to solve a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits that I’ve gained from Alteryx is being able to prepare data from many different sources and having no limit with data at extremely fast speeds.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend any analyst looking to speed up there processes with no limit of data to use Alteryx. This has made my job a lot more simpler and can process millions of rows of data.

Alteryx is very easy to use. Our team started using this last year and have picked up on its functionality and benefited much from it from reporting perspective.

So far we haven't found a functionality that we wish would have.

There isn't a lot I dislike to be fully honest, but I would say the input tools could be better.

Great Data Analytics Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Alteryx manages data imports quite well, it can be connected to various data sources or local files. It has rich features, great number of different analytics and tools to further manipulate data. The processing speed is also great, I never found myself in a situation whereby I had to wait too much for an analytics to run.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alteryx is quite expensive compared to similar tools on the market. The visualization of analytics result is terrible, it feels like an ancient solution (especially for mapping output). Also there is only little documentation available when new features come out so it is difficult to be up to date with software updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alteryx is a great tool for data manipulation and data analytics. The tool is quite intuitive and easy to use. Using this tool makes the life of my department much more easier than before. We use this product for data extraction, ETL processes, automation, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a good tool to work with huge data sets, great import and analysis functions, but not the best when it comes to interpretation. Have a look at the plenty of other tools as it can be quite expensive, especially if it does not fit perfectly to your organizations needs.
Great for big data manipulation
What do you like best about the product?
The capacity to make a work process that can be computerized when it is done. This is something that Tableau Prep can not give us a chance to do at the present time. The assortment and profundity of instruments offered, just as usability. Does not require any coding background to utilize. For the most part, the product is more clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
Been great so far but hard to build sql queries natively which can be annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coordinating outside records to inward client databases. Acknowledged immense time investment funds and expanded precision. Help with tidying up and controlling information just as geocoding and using the statistic data in Allocate. For the most part, I utilize it for huge information pulls, consolidating numerous informational collections, making informational indexes, contrasting informational collections.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a decent information mixing apparatus. It is anything but difficult to learn and actualize. Its spare increasingly manual preparing time. Put it all on the line.
