Great app for personal cloud storag

What do you like best about the product?
I've used dropbox for a really long time. I like that I can access it on any device, through a website or a client on my windows machine, where it appears as another drive. I also liked how they gave additional space if you referred other users. Also like the share documents feature
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had more free space, because I really like this interface. I'm too cheap to pay for a monthly subscription, especially since there's more space on Google drive and Mydrive, but I like Dropbox better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No matter where I am, I can easily access important documents. I like the ability to share those documents with specific individuals rather than sending the document. My family can access documents quickly and easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy-to-use interface. Many useful tools in the upgraded versions. A tool I can rely on

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use. Dropbox is an excellent platform. Dropbox adds a ton of flexibility to providing large attachments to emails. If at some future point in time DropBox provides a really secure product I could use it for enterprise wide use. DropBox is an awesome tool that more people should realize its potential and utilize it to their advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the ease of use comes as a cost. The storage is a little slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox makes a good choice. Dropbox has fulfilled a mission of reducing mail and secure parcel post expenses by transferrring electronic document. This improves timely delivery and the oft problems of misdirected mail, parcels, and the anxiety related to both. In the near future as Dropbox becomes more securre this will have a greater impact on services to my customer
Recommendations to others considering the product:
DropBox offers a unique solution that gives a great return on investment. If you don't use Dropbox, you are missing out on an easy, intuitive product that can improve your productivity. If you are considering Dropbox give the trial a go. This will provide you with hands-on experience that will benefit your productivity.

Decent Public Cloud Platform for Simple Data Transfer

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy being able to synchronize the application on multiple devices with the same filing system for each time via Windows Explorer and through a web based application.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I have worries about is that Dropbox is a public cloud, and the UI can be a bit finicky. It does have the same file system permissions as any other file system (Admin, User, Elevated, etc.); however, when an admin or someone shares a folder, it can vary between the folder populating immediately, or you have to download their synchronization tool to force the update. Also, being able to update files when you are using the web based application of Dropbox can be rather diffficult. Most of the time it is less hassle to download all of the online files locally then synchronizing them rather than modifying through the web based application. While I have not read very much into how Dropbox attempts to combat realized security issues due to Dropbox being a public cloud, I hope that Dropbox can add additional security features into its UI to further encrypt data. Also, I am unsure about how the Patriot Act affects Dropbox, since cloud privacy laws are not as developed as to prevent Dropbox from being able to view PII or Passwords to my basic understanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Dropbox simply as a hosted service to store all of our data on there. Being able to pay for a measured service with rapid elasticity is a huge benefit, as well as on demand access.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For those who are looking for a public cloud solution that stores non PII and PHI, I would highly recommend this. Otherwise, I would try to stray away and opt for a hybrid or private cloud with more control of what goes into the server that is hosting your data.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a great platform to store your files. You can store many files in the same place. Uploading and downloading files are straightforward. You can share your files among the group that makes your job very easy. It is more secure and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not sure about any drawbacks of using dropbox. It may have limited storage for someone who wants to save larger files and data. Otherwise, I did not see any flaws.

I am using dropbox to share my documents with my group. It is effortless to communicate among the group members. Each member can access it directly. It saves your time.

Cloud storage and sharing works fine.

What do you like best about the product?
Reliable, easy to use, save and share files. It's got an intuitive interface, and it's straightforward. It's similar to saving on your own computer in a folder, and also there's an app that you can access your files from on your desktop or mobile device.
What do you dislike about the product?
Storage limits are low and the cost for expansion is high. This makes it a problem to use the free version if you have many files to save, or really, even a moderate amount of files to save, you will need to look elsewhere or else pay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving files in the cloud is what I use it for. Sharing also is easy. It's familiar to most people and easily reaches across operating system platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Google Drive is better and cheaper.

DropBox...an oldie but goodie!

  • July 15, 2021

What do you like best about the product?
DropBox has been around for a while now and is one of the first cloud file storage options available. In an actual test of its reliability and strengths, DropBox does not disappoint and continues to thrive to this very day. DropBox is both easy to use and robust. Drag and drop file cloud storage is incredibly easy. You also can easily share files with others by sending secure links. I have been a subscriber to DropBox for many years and have yet to be disappointed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using DropBox can sometimes be quirky in deleting files and placing new files in a particular file folder. Organizing your file folders can also encounter a learning curve of sorts. Once you know the ropes, you are good to go. Pricing is also a little expensive as the free use is extremely limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are securely sharing files with clients across the globe. We also use DropBox to back up important files.

Dropbox for my Small Businesses

  • July 15, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share files that I choose, the ability to manage team accesses, ease of adding files sent by others
What do you dislike about the product?
The desktop sync often just stops working. The per user cost is high for what it includes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We recently brought remote employees to the business and Dropbox makes collaborating super easy. In addition, it is a fast way to give clients the ability to share files with us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool for file sharing and maximizing collaboration. I have had mixed experiences with their support team, but when you keep pushing for the answers or another team member they are there.

The easiest way to manage file and a great suite. One for all I love dropbox paper.

  • July 15, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Compared to similar tools, it appears to have a faster sync speed. It's straightforward to use. It gives the possibility to access all the files from anywhere. I also find it helpful to have the paper tool in the suite. It has a clean interface, delightful for writing. The price is very competitive, at least for an entry level. I also found the customer service being proactive and easy to reach. I had some problem with the account and we were able to find a solution in a short amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the features are maybe too basic. There aren't many tracking features, and even the app has really a few features. That's great if you are looking for something really straithforward, but it could a be a problem if you have more complex needs.
It would be nice to have a filter to identify which file is synced locally and which is not. It would also be helpful having a feature to track who clicked on the shared link and when. The plan are quite strict, and it's not easy to add more space if needed. Especially if you have a small team or work alone it could be difficult to find a good fit in terms of space, features and price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it possible to have a smaller disk and faster to share content with anyone and everywhere. The integration with dropbox paper enables the possibility to have an all-in-one suite without having to jump from one platform to another.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Probably the most accessible tool on the market. If your needs are basic, it's a no-brainer choice.

Dropbox Business data accessibility, for a mass market solution, is incredibly fast.

  • July 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We use Dropbox Business to meet our company's internal storage requirements, along with the storage needs of each of our customers. In total, we currently have about several mission-critical consumer data stored on Dropbox. Files are segmented by company for protection reasons, no doubt, as well as we utilize a security scheme for directory site structures in enhancement for Dropbox file encryption as well as security.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like many other services, mobile accessibility could be better to mirror what we can do from a desktop computer Internet browser. But that day is coming, just as it is not just Dropbox Business, that is, with most mass market services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By the extent of the resources we have, we can't do anything like that less costly ourselves, nor can we buy it less expensive anywhere else, and get exactly the same degree of solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dropbox Business is much better suited for you or your consumers for group work or remote access. Where the value of Dropbox starts to wane is where the need for really complicated services is essential.
