Great for file sharing, poor alternative to server
What do you like best about the product?
When it worked properly, the desktop version of Dropbox was excellent for seamless cloud storage/backup of files. It is also easy to create links and share files with other people.
What do you dislike about the product?
We tried to move our company's publication archives to Dropbox for storage, and even after discussing with Dropbox reps, the process was tedious and very problematic. It was impossible to work off of dropbox as a company, as files synced for hours and hours. Eventually I had to remove the desktop app from my computer because it was causing it to run so slowly and use all the memory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to securely share files with clients via Dropbox. It also serves as our digital archive, however, it can only be accessed on the browser.

Great for Designers
What do you like best about the product?
DropBox has been great for me as a Freelance Graphic Designer. This application has allowed me to quickly and easily send links to clients with their full logo and branding packaging. Before DropBox, I had to physically give my clients a USB drive, email files one by one, or upload to Google Drive and constantly have to update viewing priveleges. With Drop Box, it is simple and quick and all I have to send is send the link and forget about it!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few things I dislike about DropBox. If I had to name something, I would say the expiration date of files. Clients must download DropBox files within 12 months before the applications remove them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delivering large files to clients was one of my most considerable problems as a freelance designer. But, with DropBox, I can quickly and efficiently deliver files - no matter how small or large.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is user-friendly, is great for sharing files of any type. The offered interface is straightforward to understand. Dropbox has helped me to save time and resources. Now I can share, upload edit files on the go, and it's much easier for my team to interact and work on projects simultaneously and for quick updates. The basic storage that Dropbox offers is quite good for an initiator.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still figuring out some issues with the Beta version. It isn't much user-friendly.
Sometimes the shared file might take a lot of time to reflect in the shared persons' system. The offline editing option doesn't run smoothly. The pricing is something that is a bit of issue, although I believe that the basic storage that Dropbox offers is quite good for an initiator.

Dropbox has helped us a lot in file sharing.
Now updating and editing the flies is easier.
Collaboration becomes easy as multiple individuals handle projects, and the auto-update feature is a blessing. It's like working on a common platform although everyone is working individually. The constant and quick updates on files being edited by someone else are very good.

Get ready to boost your files sharing experience. I have used many other applications for real-time sharing, but dropbox is the best. I would recommend it to others.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is available around the world. You can use it in every country, and it is not complicated to use. I like that you can share it with more people, of course, you have to pay for some features. For individual use, it is effortless. You can get secure storage, document watermarking, chat support if needed. I like that dropbox is excellent for accessible files transfer and that I don't have to worry about what will happen to my files.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I don't like the price. It is expensive if you are on a budget. Most startups have limited funds, so if you work with a large team or develop the business, you have to use cheaper options like standard options. This version may not work if you have large files or many people who use the storage space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you use dropbox, you solve the problem of where to store your files. It is a secure option, and you have an excellent support team if something goes wrong. Dropbox could be a good solution if your team works with large files, or you need to connect your team with other apps like Slack. You can also choose an admin who can help you with organising and managing teams. It could be a person from your team or someone else (a freelancer, for example).
Dropbox is available on mobile phones, computers or you can log in with your browser. The availability is why you have an excess to your files where ever you are.

The best application for storage purposes for a business!!
What do you like best about the product?
1)Offers the best protection which enables us to store data with confidence.
2)Allows us to save data from our phone or desktop as it is available for different OS.
3)Allows us to easily integrate with other applications.

What do you dislike about the product?
1)Doesn't work the best with mac OS.
2)Takes a bit longer to load huge files.
Other than this, I haven't found any other disadvantages to Dropbox Business.

Secure but inadequate
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is free to use. You can download it on desktops and mobiles and use it as a medium of sharing files conveniently. You can also use Dropbox on the web browser without needing to download anything, where you can upload files by dragging and dropping them into the window. Dropbox offers a good level of security for your files as they're all private by default unless you authorize their access to other people. You can send email invitations or share URLs for files to the people, and they'll be able to view and download them. Dropbox is an excellent medium for collaboration as it supposrts file editing and document writing with other people at the same time on the cloud. You can use Dropbox Tools, which supports all of these features and also can be used for management of workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox only offers 2GB of storage for free, which is very inadequate. When Google Drive, which is also free, offers 15GB, the 2GB provided by Dropbox feels insufficient for storing large files. It's not very convenient to always have to delete existing files on the cloud to make room for new ones. While Dropbox has many other features for collaboration, it still falls behind Google Drive, which comes with a variety of Google products that can be integrated along with other applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to store some company files and some personal files of my own, which are very small in size. Dropbox has an intuitive UI, making it easier to navigate. So, for quick uploading and downloading of files or file transfers, I enjoy the smoothness that Dropbox has to offer. For cloud content collaboration, I've found Dropbox Paper to be very beneficial in allowing my team to work on documents and source codes over the web. Its security is worth noting as you fully control who can access your files, so you need not ever have to worry about data leaks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Dropbox as a tool for cloud storage and collaboration. But if your only purpose is to store files, I would say Google Drive is better as it offers more space. Both are excellent for cloud collaboration, but there are more upsides to Google Drive than Dropbox, from my professional experience.

The best about dropbox is that they provide you ample space to store your things on the cloud for free.
Cloud is the future now. We don't need to buy more storage capacity phones to carry our data.
We can store and access the data when and wherever we want. Information is entirely secure, and upload and download speeds are superb. Never feel you are downloading the items from the cloud.
The user interface is too good and simple to use. We can make folders as we need and can download the whole folder as well.
Being a free tool, there are no ads that irritate a user all the time.

Till now I haven't found anything which I can say I don't like. They should keep it free till specific storage. And if possible, they can enhance their User Interface to make it more attractive.
Another thing that can be improved is the upload speed of the doc with a low data connectivity so everyone can download with a low-speed network whenever is needed on an urgent basis.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whatever doc I want always to be secured with me, I always keep in dropbox and no other app. It is easily accessible everywhere, and the mobile app is also too good with such a simple interface. The other most important aspect is that data is entirely secure, and you don't need to work. It is always available for you.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I surely recommend this tool. Once you use it, you will be in love with this tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Accessibility to the files I need whenever I need them. It's nice to have all the files in one place instead of carrying them on a USB. Also, no need for a laptop while accessing them.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the other hand, it is annoing to send a link instead of the actual file whenever you want to share a file with somebody.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can access in an instant all of my files, wherever I am in the whole world.

It is an excellent tool for anybody that needs to have all the files without using any other device but the "holy smartphone" that never misses from our pockets.

The biggest problem is being able to upload large files and photos. I think the best benefit is the ability to upload large files without having to break things up one at a time

If you are considering Dropbox, just sign up for it. It's very easy to use to upload files and pictures and large videos, as well as sharing with your friends and family. I definitely recommend this to anyone who asks about it.

What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely easy to share files on your local network, and there is also a web version that makes many things easier. It notifies you when someone has made changes to a shared document. In general, it is very intuitive and easy to use, but if you are a user who has never used repositories, better watch a quick tutorial on YT.

At first, I found it a bit difficult to understand how to connect to the local network and how to update the files.

Shared files for collaborative work, we have found the benefit of saving versions that are stored and that you can retrieve information in case of a mishap.
