Powerful, yet lightweight tool
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is incredibly helpful as a platform through which you can transfer files between two or more devices. This is assisted through its primary feature of the cloud storage facility. You can upload files to it using many mediums such as desktop, browser, phone, etc. Files uploaded are guaranteed to be secure and Dropbox has robust security features to ensure that there is no loss in data or unauthorized access. You can simultaneously log in to your Dropbox account on multiple devices, and this allows you to transfer files easily. Files can also be shared through an accessible URL that you can send out manually. It's also worth mentioning how user-friendly Dropbox's interface is, and it allows you to navigate through all your files while uploading without any interruption.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is not so much a dislike but a minor inconvenience that Dropbox only offers 2 GigaBytes of space for storage. While I'm quite content, when uploading larger files, I often have to use Google Drive as an alternative. I'd much rather have all my files in one place as opposed to multiple cloud storage platforms. As of now, I just don't see the features that come with upgrading my Dropbox account worthwhile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows me to move my files between devices and provides a medium of transfer with other people. For my remote work, file sharing is an essential day-to-day activity that allows me to stay on the same page as other workers in our company and to collaborate with them. Not only can we do this by sharing files on Dropbox, but Dropbox also offers a crucial tool such as Dropbox Paper that allows us to work on docs simultaneously over the web. Dropbox greatly solves issues that could come with remote work while offering premium features that save time and let us be more productive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
At absolutely no cost, you can use Dropbox today and be completely content with everything it has to offer. I've been quite reliant on Dropbox for years for my work and thus far, I've had no issues in uploading files or sharing them. I would recommend giving Dropbox a try.

A good virtual storage option
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is the large storage capacity that this app gives us, and it is also free. With this, we don't have to worry about the storage of our phone and can have our information at hand when we need it. The app has a high synchronization speed, a good method of folder organization, with easy access to them and easy creation of the same.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that there is a lack of information regarding its benefits and it is difficult to market it, and its tools. The massive downloads need to be improved since that type of operation cannot be done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Handling a document that is being worked on by several people at the same time and needs to be constantly updated.
Dropbox is the Standard for Sharing Files
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has the name value that people trust when it comes to transferring documents over in a timely fashion. I like that the mobile version is on-the-go to make things easier for everybody.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Dropbox had just a slightly more interesting design. I find that the lack of "pop" in the icon is not the most exciting thing in the world to look at. If it had a little bit more edge, I think people would take it more seriously as a platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes on a Chromebook, Dropbox gave issues on the other end of the person not being able to get a certain video on time. It's only happened once, but it was enough to cause a delay in a deadline where I needed to rush back to get things done before the end of the day.
Use this to house all of our photos, videos and other assets that we want to share and be available.
What do you like best about the product?
I like best that I can upload all of my files into one place, sort them into folders and share them with any and everyone. I also like that I can view my files quickly and can filter through them by searching. It makes it easy to share with external partners and specific folders. I also like that I can have multiple projects within dropbox and sort them and organize them so they don't intertwine.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that I cannot tag photos and videos with certain tags to search. Also, I'm not too fond of that there is not a more organized way to sort photos or upload them into relevant folders. I do not like that there is not a preview in the folders so I can see what is in there before clicking into the folder itself. We wish that it was a little more organized and easy to navigate for someone who has not used the product before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of being able to house all of our media and other assets online. Also, this allows us to share with external partners so they can have a toolkit easily accesible for them. I have realized that I can make folders for specific people to share. Also, I have realized this makes it easier for people to filter through things. We are also solving the problem of not having to develop a specific media kit page for our external partners. This reduces costs and work on our end to distribute material.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
After researching, I would consider using this product over other options for ease of use.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that the team I put together can File share easily and confidently . Dropbox is user-friendly . It makes file sharing as easy as I’ve seen. I can share to my group the documents we need fairly easy. I am able to switch between local files and the Dropbox files with ease. It really is that easy. My group can as well. When it comes to integrating, with the files on my Computer it is smooth and effortless. It scans just as easy . No need to learn any other software . Also. My favorite feature is that my cellphone and laptop has my files , All of them . I can share or just go to and open them as needed..
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the application can be a bit slow and a bit sluggish but it is nothing to worry about because it rights itself almost immediately and doesn't happen often . It still has enough juice between the file sharing and its many other functions., this is nothing to worry about . In fact, my team and I really don’t have complaints about Dropbox..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a really good app for storing local files and sharing. Also I download a lot of Zip files (ebooks etc.) and Dropbox allows me to create an instant transfer and unzips it at the same time.
DrobBox is so convenient!
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about DropBox is that it is always available since it is internet-based. Everyone wants everything in "the cloud", and DropBox makes it easy to store and access all of my content. I use it for both personal and business. I can easily navigate to what I need and star essential files for quick access. I am also the administrator for my company, and DropBox makes it easy to manage my users. If I need to terminate access immediately, I can do so from anywhere (even while on vacation!). The ease of use is such a critical feature in my fast-paced business enviornment.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is NOTHING I dislike about DropBox!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DropBox makes it so easy to save and access my files, pictures, and video files. I am in DropBox daily, so ease of access is so important to me.
Dropbox Review - A+
What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive. Once it's set up, the navigation is easy. I can create many folders and sub-folders with a ton of documents while keeping them off my own hardrive (saving space and keeping my machine nimble). I also like the ability to have shared files with others. The real time updatres are also extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been a handful of times (rare but frustrating) where the system has glitched and refused to save changes. However, it's only happned a few times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a 100% remote team with individuals across all time zones. It's very convenient having a shared document repository for use on colloboarative projects. It's also a convenient place to store informational documents like contracts or policies. This gives us all access to the same documents at the same time. Another benefit is being able to work on documents with sensitive information without having to email them. Just a must safer alternative.
Easy and Simple - A Must!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the sharing properties inside of Dropbox. My classes use DropBox to share assignments and essays with one another with ease, which allows us to collaborate efficiently. I also really enjoy how DropBox notifies me whenever someone has edited a file or has uploaded a file, and who that person specifically is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how when I try to take a document off of DropBox, it does not automatically copy the document then put a copy onto my desktop. Instead, it will take the original document and take it off my DropBox. A copy and paste is possible, but be careful you don't accidentally take it out entirely!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DropBox is allowing greater and more efficient autonomy within my workplace. My co-workers' schedule is highly individualized, so this will enable me to edit and share documents when I have access to them, and then they can work on their responsibilities when I cannot get on my computer. Also, it lets me see who is on the project, who has edited what pieces of our projects, and allows live or staggered collaboration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest DropBox to anyone who needs to find a way to stay organized with collaborating. Our team uses a "SandBox" file, where everyone throws in their pitches, where they will remain archived. This allows for people to brainstorm creatively and still have their work available. In addition with that, our DropBoxes then have the freedom to change and adapt with our current projects, including peer reviews and heavy edits.

What do you like best about the product?
I have the app on my phone, and I use a windows OS which backs up files in the C drive automatically to dropbox. I find it very easy to transfer content from my phone to a computer to open another computer and see all my files from my computer there. Cloud storage is the best
What do you dislike about the product?
The very little space they provide. It provides only 5 GB, and for additional you have to pay much more. It's ridiculous because dropbox automatically syncs every file on my computer to the cloud, and it's complicated to manage which to store and which ones not to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If i could figure how to stop dropbox from automatically syncing everything, it would be great. Also, their file management isn't very pleasing to look at. Google Drive has better layout

I have kept my all personal data on drive by creating a structured folders for every year. Not only my data but my entire family data is stored that inlcudes my daughter education reports, our medical reports, finance reports. It is easy for me to access the data whenever there is a need and share with stakeholders
