Sendbird delivered as promised.
What do you like best about the product?
Sendbird has been a pleasure to work with so far and has delivered exactly as promised. Their sales and success management teams have been a joy to collaborate with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is currently tracking to be quite high. We have a custom pricing model that involves filling up a gas tank and burning through usage. At the rate it is burning it will result in a high annual expense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sendbird is providing chat services for our computer game.

Excellent messaging solution experience with Sendbird.
What do you like best about the product?
- You can most certainly implement high-level chat functionality.
- Sendbird is a team that listens to its users. Over the past 4 years, we've seen requirements get implemented quickly.
- Provides a wide range of features that connect to chat as a solution.
- Extremely reliable. Very few errors in the last 4 years.

What do you dislike about the product?
- No major drawbacks. Very happy with my experience with Sendbird
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There was a lot of user demand for a chat feature in the service my team provides. The team was very small and it was difficult to implement the chat feature ourselves. We looked for a solution to get it up and running quickly and chose Sendbird. Since then, we've been able to provide chat functionality to our users very quickly and reliably.
Sendbird has delivered on what they promised.
What do you like best about the product?
We evaluated many possible solutions for our in-app chat project, including building our own. Ultimately we went with Sendbird because they have a mature feature set, competetive pricing, and a solid stability track record. Working with them on our build process has been a joy and since launching about a month ago everything is working as expected. Bottomline is that they have delivered on what they promised, and that's all I want from my 3rd party solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far it's been overwhelmingly positive, but if I had to point to something, their mobile UIkit could be better. It's serviceable, but eventually we plan to use their API and build our own UIkit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using their SDK and APIs to facilitate our in-app chat communications across two Android, and two iOS apps, as well as a React-based web application. Eventually we'll make use of their moderation features as well.

Sendbird is our chat platform, which is used to connect our customers allowing them to communicate and solve problems.
Extensive range of features and customization
What do you like best about the product?
Sendbird SDK has a lot of useful features, providing various opportunities to customize the chat experience. And the managers have a great interest in our product and care a lot about its usage, try to give us technical support if it's needed. Also the dashboard is designed simple but quite informative.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike about it so far.

With the Sendbird chat SDK, we can save resources to build chatting system on our own, and view statistics easily.

They understand the requirements of their users and generalise their product to fit all the use cases requested by the user. Great product

Initial friction which was sorted out in later interactions during our integration journey

What do you like best about the product?
Features are fairly robust and there are consistent updates, so I feel like there's effort being made to scale up and take customer feedback into consideration.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, Sendbird works well for user to user messaging, but features for admin messaging could be improved. We'd like the option to include images for Announcements and to automatically segment users based on things like geo, within Sendbird.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enables our users to communicate directly with each other, enables us to send weekly update messages to target user segments. Also enables us to create different channels for different user typs.
