A great partner for real-time messaging services
What do you like best about the product?
The Sendbird platform has met almost all of our needs for real-time messaging in our native apps and web platform. Their SDKs are full-featured and performant. Their support team has quickly responded, fixed issues, and followed up. I have also enjoyed the partnership we have with our account team. They have not been pushy, but instead sought to understand our business needs and upgraded/downgraded our feature plans/billing packages accordingly,
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any Saas provider, one of the downsides of Sendbird is the risk of vendor lock-in. However, Sendbird does provide some helpful tools to get messages/channel data out of the platform (webhooks, advanced analytics, and data export).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sendbird is solving all the technical infrastructure problems related to real-time messaging. This allows us to focus on our core business and still have a competitive integrated messaging product in our apps.

What do you like best about the product?
Send bird is a great system to use with auditing apps. I love the communication system that they have. It helped me in my daily duties because now we don't have to manually send emails, sendbird does it for you

I don't really any problems with sendbird so I can't really say. It's working fine for me
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sendbird is solving communication problems between me and the Franchises we work with. Instead of sending communication manually, sendbird does it for you and this saves time and give opportunities to focus on other things
Great experience with Sendbird so far
What do you like best about the product?
We originally used Sendbird for user-to-user chats for a feature on our website. Our launch strategy was to start with low volume and ramp up, which the Sendbird pricing plans supported well. Their out-of-the-box moderation tools were a great start for ensuring our chats are a safe space for users. The sales/account management teams were very available for questions and advice.
We also added Sendbird chatting to our mobile app, and the transition to using the React Native toolkit was seamless.

What do you dislike about the product?
We had some confusion about how MAU was calculated originally. However, after reaching out to Sendbird, they scheduled a call for us with an account rep and one of their engineers to walk us through exactly how it was calculated and resolved the confusion for us!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a young start-up, we need an easy, out-of-the-box but customizable, cross-platform chat.
Sendbird SDK and Dashboard Review
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboards Sendbird provides are quite informative. You can track down every single user down to their every bit of information and this makes troubleshooting rather easy. The UI design of the web dashboards is intuitive and seamless to navigate through. The updated mobile SDKs have significantly improved memory profiling.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not opensource. But, that's understandable, when you try to monetize something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sendbird provides us the option to design in-app chatting, which beyond initial integration is very easy to maintain. This saves a lot of time for developers and managers alike. It also provides the option of media storage(media and thumbnail), if you opt for it.

So many things to like in Sendbird, I can mention the top 5 which is helpful for us

- Standard out of the box features for users like read receipt, block/unblock, filters, search etc
- Advanced settings like profanity filter, thumbnail preview etc

What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing much to dislike as such. If you are on an Enterprise plan, most of the things are covered by default, If we find any challenges in the future I can update this review.

Using messaging platform: It's a Game changer
What do you like best about the product?
The level of their detailed documentation and their tech team's availability for support.
All features like group chat, 1o1 chat etc. are great to have. If you are building a chat system from start, no need to go into web socket connection and all other things from basics. Their exposed APIs and SDK methods, makes it easier for any one to onboard with chat system easily.

There is nothing as of now, that I can say I dislike.

We are solving our system's entire notification system going into 1 central chat place. Whether its 1o1 chat, group chat, payments, verticals rich text notifications etc.

What do you like best about the product?
I like using this app because it helps to streamline in-app conversations with current, existing and potential clients. it makes things easier to help mange multiple conversations at once
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it seems to freeze, and sometimes it's hard to close the app and then get the same conversation back - I feel like they disappear and then I worry I cant get them back again

In app quick converstaion with potential and current clients. have benefited from being able to instantly chat with people as they are going through the sales process and helps manage sales
Great product, pricing, and customer service.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to integrate, easy to understand pricing tier system, BAA compatible, and great customer support (tech support + competent account management)
What do you dislike about the product?
As long as you don't have BAA requirement, the pricing is great. If you require BAA, it will become expensive.

Integration of HIPAA compliant chat within our mobile app. Rock solid stability.
