Easy Project Management - Even if you aren't a Project Manager

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com makes it very easy for me to track projects that I am working on. I can create custom boards for each project or a sizeable omnibus tracker for multiple projects. The built-in templates are a great place to get started, and the built-in automations are not only intuitive but make the system fun to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday.com is great at making sure that you see when one of your collaborators had made edits or comments in a shared board. However it can be a bit challenging to get through all the notifications to find what is important. For example, if I'm overseeing one board, but don't really need every notification, I cannot customize when I'm notified of changes. This is fine when the board I'm on is one where I'm an end-user. On boards where I am managing the end-users, the notifications can get overwhelming, and it feels a bit like not seeing the forest for the trees.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com is vital to my recruiting efforts. In the midst of the tightest job market in a decade, I have to be quick and nimble when it comes to connecting with candidates. Monday.com allows me to not only track where I am in the recruiting process, but it lets me see where my co-workers are. It allows for any of us to assist a candidate who is calling in, even if that candidate is not someone we're actively engaged with. It allows for a seamless experience for our candidates.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature of Monday is that it allows me to see all of the work assigned to me in one spot. It also splits it up into due dates. It is incredibly user-friendly and is not difficult to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides is that it is hard to see where my tasks are coming from; it will just show the task. I have to click it, and then it will take me to the workspace, which usually takes longer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com is helping our company make deadlines on projects. It is also allowing us to see not only the big picture but also the steps needed to get there. We have been more efficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would take advantage of all the features that this has to offer! My team loves using the calendar view; it is super helpful!

Organization and time management at your fingertips

What do you like best about the product?
The user-friendly interface and ability to customize and revise on the fly. The extraordinary adaptability for utilization across multiple fronts (HR, Planning, Project management, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
Have only been using it now for about a month and have to be honest, I have not found any flaws that jump out at me thus far!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Presently we have been utilizing Monday as a Task Management system to keep our teams focused in the ever-changing Academic environment. We use it to stay abreast of (construction) projects that are both just starting, are in the planning phase, or are in progress. It has also assisted us in keeping track of the candidates coming to us through the campus hiring board to schedule and process new staff more efficiently and professionally. Finally, we have started using it for simple day-to-day tasks and appointments to ensure nothing falls between the cracks!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure that before you begin utilizing Monday, that you have a template for what it is you wish to use it for. Though it can support multiple applications, the ease in setting it up comes from having a solid foundation to build upon.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is that there are templates to use so you can get to work right away or you can customize the templates or build from scratch.
The interface is pretty intuitive; technical support is top notch. One of my staff built a highly customized solution in a matter of a couple days.
It integrates with many apps. We used it with HubSpot.
Licensing is a reasonable price.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like is that Monday feels like it should be like a database, but it doesn't have some of the same functions as a database. Things like related tables, conditional fields. You can sort of build relationships on the boards, but its a bit tricky to make sure things work right.
We were probably trying to make it do more than what is realistic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a custom project management tool for web development team. It does allow us to break projects up in great detail if we need with tasks and subtasks.
It has been helpful from a project communications stand point as the team can leave comments on individual tasks for all to see. This has saved time and keeps everyone informed.

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of features if you need a platform to track the ever-loving heck out of your workflow. There are a lot of options to organize data if you are tech savy enough to figure them out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was a little more intuitive. I also wish it was easier to mirror tasks between boards, and especially mirror the conversations about tasks(which is not currently a possible function). At it's most basic level a system like this should be able to create simple to-do lists boards for each employee that reflect ALL details on a manager's board without so many complex linking automations, and some details are impossible to link(specifically conversations).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A one-stop shop for each employee to get their to-do list and organize their workflow. It's pretty functional for this purpose(not perfect) and it has definitely helped to make the to-dos more clear.

Wonderful Data Base Organization

What do you like best about the product?
Believe it or not the color-coding. As a person with a learning disability, color-coding and filtering allow me to easily "see" what needs to be addressed in my sales pipeline and database. This makes it easy for me to move quickly on to the next task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not feel that I am using it to its fullest extent. There are a lot of moving parts and it is hard to know if I am getting the most out of the platform. Maybe more videos or tips on how to customize it. Would be really nice if it integrated with Zensell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Database organization for multiple users. Clear record of sales inquiries again for multiple users. Easy to read use and produce reports from. Very easy to filter and keep straight whose clients are whose.

What do you like best about the product?
Mondays.com is a job manager, but it is not just any job manager that you get online. I can assure you that it is the best job manager, that's why I use it.

And starting with its cost, it is one of the best options on the market, and I love that, because at first glance you may even think that it is a bad product, because its basic cost is 8 dollars per three months. However, once you start using the service, you realize that it is an amazing service for such a low price.

I appreciate quite a lot about Monday.com that it has quite a wide set of features that makes it very easy to work with, plus it adapts to other tools you may want to install on your own.

Its interface is very comfortable, you can navigate in it without any inconvenience because it has an intuitive design in which it is quite easy to find your way around.

I also like the fact that I can share my boards with friends without the need for them to be affiliated to the platform.

I appreciate that I can adopt them to the needs of each project, as well as I can share them with the whole team and control how much I want them to intervene in it, controlling through the configuration what these people can do and what they can't do.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is an excellent program, and I don't see anything so far that I don't like. In my opinion, it is a perfect platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The truth is that by helping me to organize my work, it has done everything for me, because by organizing my pending tasks I have been able to boost my business.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You have to take into account that sometimes the program slows down the computer, but it is not something out of this world that cannot be solved.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday makes it so easy to keep my team's workload organized. I can get a quick overview of our entire queue and filter by any combination of fields (i.e., status, owner, etc.). Also, customer support has been very helpful with creating different dashboards to create a high overview of things for our executive leadership team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some features on my wishlist for the platform. I would personally like just a little more customization in the MyWork view. For example, being able to see multiple date columns vs having to pick one (we use this as some items may have multiple checkpoints. Also in MyWork, if your looking at a subitem, clicking to view the details of the parents kicks you out of the my work view. Finally, in automations, I'd love to be able to pull text from either board name or group name into the name of a "Create new item" automation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Workload view keeps us from stacking too many tasks on one person, and My Work keeps each individual in tune with their tasks. Also, having all our notes in one place has made it easy to reassign the task to another individual to pick up where someone else left off.

What do you like best about the product?
On Monday you can create calendars for your team to use for a variety of projects. It's really useful to communicate, hold people accountable, share files and see what stage certain projects are at.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the dashboard cannot be ordered per person. If you'd like one project, let's say "Email Calendar" at the top, everyone else's dashboard gets arranged "Email Calendar" is at the top and you cannot put something else there without everyone's being rearranged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday has solved a lot of who, where, and when for our brand. We can see, by tagging specific people, who does what, and the file column is a convenient place to hold content we need, and the calendar makes it clear when things are expected to be done. It holds everyone accountable and makes things easier.
