Overall, a very solid Product
What do you like best about the product?
Reporting features are very valuable, and the ease of integration with other applications allows us to maintain a single source of truth across the enterprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product is not very flexible with regards to making profile adjustments. When a name is incorrectly entered, we must delete the record and create a new one. Since we use Intacct to drive many other applications, it creates duplicate entries in other apps that we use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We required a robust accounting software that would enable us to manage our GL, as well as invoice customers. As a major source of data, Intacct has also assisted us on the reporting side, serving as a beneficial dashboard for key financials, as well as for HR metrics.

Such an adaptable accounting solution for any organization type.

the customization is by far the best I have seen.

not enough man hours to really perfect the system and get it running to its optimum potential

very customizable! We can accomplish all of the processes that we need to to be able to meet our goals and stay lean.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting help or training on anything is difficult and very expensive so I don't feel like I can use it to the fullest extent.

Being able to push purchasing to our ministry leaders has allowed the Finance office to run very lean and save in personnel costs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to get as much training and reporting building help on the front-end!

What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is highly capable of delivery, financial results in the right format. Their support division works closely with partner end to make sure all data shows up correctly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Intacct is technically built on Salesforce. Creating a custom integration requires custom objects from them. Further, there should be an interim server needs to process all to models of revenue. Sometimes such integration gets complicated if tech staffing is not defined correctly and their weak custom objects behaviour & integration documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are membership review model company where we had the option to outsource our revenue records to intact and get financial statements out of it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
if the company have straightforward financial revenue records without much of customization from Intacct end i would strongly recommend intacct.
Good, but not quite fully customer friendly yet

I like that it is cloud based. It is easy to access from any location where you can get internet.
What do you dislike about the product?
The use of dimensions instead of departments or sub accounts, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple companies on one main root level and trying to get one set of chart of accounts to work without expanding to much is very difficult.
I do not like that they can change the account name in one company, but the root level is still the same. So, they can actually use an account for other purpose.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it shows accounts payable and recievable
What do you dislike about the product?
This product does exactly what I want and more!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us break out our Aging Report and see where we are out and who needs to pay us/who we need to pay.

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility in report writing and the customization of the platform for a small business
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the report writing isn't as intuitive so you need a 3rd party to write some for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Solid platform with lots of integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Being a salesforce admin configuring Intacct was a breeze. The sync setup is surprisingly simple and mapping fields from SFDC to intacct was straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we can get error logs to assist us with troubleshooting the platform when sync issue occurs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Intacct to automate our order entry from SFDC to Intacct and then the standard Intacct connector back to SFDC to our Sales Invoice object..
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Plan, plan, plan, and find the right integration partner to work with. Bigger is not always better when it comes to integration.

Good for processing orders and manage the inventory, AR, AP and employee expenses.

What do you like best about the product?
Having used Intacct since the past two years, its been an awesome experience- easy to learn and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support is at times slow. (not always)
