Intacct Advantage 2016
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Multi Entity Functionality
What do you dislike about the product?
i do not currently like the Inventory module
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Side by Side P&L's, dashboard, visibility, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
We've found Intacct to be extremely flexible - when we have an issue or a new feature need there is either a partner in the ecosystem with a solution or Intacct will work with us to put our requirements in the roadmap or Intacct professional services is there to help us develop a custom solution for our unique needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Intacct has a relatively small footprint in the market not all of our first choice vendors for third-party modules have native integrations and we have to look to in-house or partner-delivered integration solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ours will always ne a matter of scale. In the face of extremely rapid growth, how do we do more with same resources we had last year. Intacct is enabling us to automate and integrate with solutions that are leading our business forward.

Importing, integration with Salesforce, workflow structure, user friendly

concur intergration, inability to upload fixed assets thorugh a journal entry

Reporting on multiple dimensions, less manual reporting, more timely month end process
Reveiw of Intacct Accounting Package
What do you like best about the product?
User interface is easy to use and well laid out. The new reporting is that is going to come in 2017 looks amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer service and support is extremely poor. I've had several shouting matches with them and its rather frustrating sometimes to even get an SOW or someone assigned when there is an issue that needs development.

Powerful Reporting & Finance Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct provides the flexibility to design a system that works for the users. the scale of customization and ability to generate meaningful reports has greatly increased reporting for every department. The ability to seamlessly integrate with a variety of products takes accounting automation to a new level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Waiting for necessary development features to operate an effective and automated multi base-currency and multi-entity structure. Great releases have made strides in 2016, 2017 should be much better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased reporting and visibility provide a insight to every departments needs. From projects to kpis to metrics intacct has helped us communicate necessary things to every department.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating indepth financial reports, and the Dimensions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reports are built for grouping the departments under the accounts. We track expense by departments. It seems backwards. But the work around is easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to analyze the trends in our revenue streams. I have gained about 10 hours per week from taking away a lot of manual processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do your due diligence. This company is high on customer satisfaction and listens to feedback
Easy to pull data out by customer, project, vendor from the general ledger

Ease of use - easy to drill down from financials and other reports to the raw data
What do you dislike about the product?
Very few dislikes - would like a little more flexibility in the intercompany area moving money that is not a base currency to another company
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project accounting is our main focus and this is allowing us to see how our various projects are performing, we like the task feature to see how long various task take the employees to complete so we can get a better idea on our pricing model.

review setup multiple times before going live - before setting up projects really think through the naming conventions
Best Cloud Accounting Product Out There
What do you like best about the product?
Intacct is absolutely the best cloud accounting solution on the market! I have watched so many small software and professional business companies that were growing and couldn't keep up with the spreadsheets. Intacct solved every problem and gave them the ability to grow even further through better financing options because of the reports they were able to provide. The dashboard alone is worth every penny for the CFO. It gives them access to amazing financials at their fingertips. I would not recommend any other solution besides Intacct. Intacct for the win!
What do you dislike about the product?
Absolutely nothing! Intacct has a great product that is user friendly!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to see the dashboard gives access to critical financial information at your fingertips. It shows how the business is doing in real time as well as showing what the real value of the company is at any given time. The pain of closing the books no longer exists!

The customer service is a joke, I have been in contact with them since May on a JE that was created in the future in a different currency which causes major issues.They keep telling me they are looking into it, but it is now December and still we cannot reconcile our books for the year.

BLOCK THE SYSTEM FROM MAKING FUTURE JE'S IN A FOREIGN CURRENCY

Recommendations to others considering the product:
a lot to learn at first, but once you get your feet under you the system can do almost anything you want. Great to be able to customize certain things to minimize errors.
5/10 - a system that gets the job done.
What do you like best about the product?
Unfortunately my list of dislikes is greater than my list of likes but to Intacct's credit, I would commend the system's ability to customize various components of the system. I appreciate the limitations I can input on user profiles or additions of fields/boxes/options in the Purchasing system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The usability of Top Level and entry into other entities. I am not a fan of the attachment fields in the Purchasing module. Mobility and use of system on-the-go is not favorable or user friendly. The approval system and process is a mess. Nothing at all is flexible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Purchasing to Payment process. There is a basic approval captured but other than that, everything is so manual.... all aspects are a struggle to complete or process.

If you're looking for a purchasing system....look elsewhere.
