Policy Stuido is too old and need some solid revamping

Amplify API Manager CIP
What do you like best about the product?
I most like the easy way to use the API Gateway, the vast documentation we can find on Axway site, the amount of information is on API node manager and API manager, Policy studio is a great tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, log viewer could get better. When you need to get information its is not too easy when you have a lot of transactions. In my opnion, instead, provide API Gateway with a simple log viewer, analytic should be the main log viewer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
APi Gatway is solving our API traffic. We did not use to make transactions using APIs, and API management improved our application in this case. Api management made our api transaction be more easy and fast.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Set up analytics as default log viewer
Very complete product, easy to administer and manage APIs

Manage API's with trusted & Secure platform
What do you like best about the product?
Axway API Gateway is the most secure way to manage APIs in a scalable environment. It allows to manage the complete lifecycle of API and allows multiple functionalities, but it will take some time to learn
What do you dislike about the product?
The support provided by Axway is poor. They should revert quickly to emails and tickets. There is a scope for improvement here. Also, the tool should be easy to use, just like how APIGEE is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Axway Amplify API Management allows to manage and securely transfer data from various applications across platforms via API's. Tokenization allows us to track and use the API's for monetization.

What do you like best about the product?
AMPLIFY gives me the comfort to implement our organization's hybrid application workflow integrations with reduced complexities. It has a brilliant governance framework that ensures the provided application integration is of high quality. Also, AMPLIFY offers excellent reliability and integrity without making us worry about any potential risk or disruption.
What do you dislike about the product?
AMPLIFY is a brilliant applications integration platform for my business requirements. Specifically, there isn't anything to dislike about AMPLIFY.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AMPLIFY offers splendid compatibility in multi-platform environments and also implementing application delivery quickly and efficiently. I make use of AMPLIFY for both my on-premise data centers and cloud-based data centers. API management & track-back activities are pretty convenient and flexible while I work with AMPLIFY.

The tool is very intuitive, it lets you publish an API in an intuitive way. It doesn't take a lot of knowledge.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Portal is managed by Joomla which could be more flexible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The solution allowed the company to integrate with business partners in an agile and secure manner.

the new productlines Amplify Fusion and Amplify Engage fit well into our enhanced API strategy

providing an extended Open Telemetry would be appreciated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The robust gateway solution helps us covering all aspects of centrally managing REST APIs and expose them to internal as well as external customers. This is not only the PSD2 mandatory APIs, but also a lot of premium APIs for normal bank customers as well as SME business or big corporate clients.
Amplify is used to be the edge gateway for all APIs of Commerzbank. It is well designed to have a focus on the consumer organisation, when configured correctly. With the very good help from the Axway engineers we were able to do so, procvessing now billions of transactions every month
Also, the options to use a hybrid cloud approach helped us to move into the cloud at our own choosen speed.
And with the upcoming marketplace support, we seem to find another way of extending out range of coverange

1. choose a good architecture that fits to your existing landscape. Amplify is (maybe as many other API Mgmt solutions) flexible enough to serve different approaches.
2. it is not so much the technology (Axway is a solid API management product, but others might do as well), ist is more how one builds up the organisation around the API management that makes the difference between success and failure. start thinking big!!!

Its platform as a service suits which helps to connect two applications

It requires training and a certified set of resources to use this tool

We used it for a small application for performing a POC but shifted to a different tool as the team found it more convenient to use.

Product Support and understanding. Since it was for a POC and was proven challenging to set up, Team choose to move away and shifted to a different tool
