Torq's Flexibility Streamlines Significant Time Savings in SOC

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of time that has been saved due to the flexibility in the automation workflows that can be created. The dashboard for presenting the current cases is intuitive and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an end-user I do not have many valid dislikes with the platform. Sometimes the auto refresh for the dashboards does not complete and "ghost" cases can appear in the queue while they are being processed before they are auto resolved/closed. These are both small UI issues that overall do not significantly impact the usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Torq has made a significant improvement in cutting down the repetitive tasks that used to plague a majority of our SOC shifts.

Easy to handle

What do you like best about the product?
Torq has quickly become one of my favorite tools for security automation. Its no-code approach, combined with a highly intuitive visual interface, makes it incredibly easy to build, test, and deploy automation workflows—without writing a single line of code.

What I appreciate most is how much time and effort it has saved my team. Tasks that used to take hours or required custom scripts are now fully automated, allowing us to focus on higher-level analysis and response. The drag-and-drop workflow builder is powerful yet user-friendly, and the wide range of built-in integrations with SIEMs, EDRs, ticketing platforms, and custom APIs makes it highly adaptable to any environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Torq is an incredibly powerful platform, there are a few areas where I think it could get even better. For example, the debugging experience for complex workflows can sometimes be a bit challenging — especially when you're dealing with nested logic or multiple branching paths. A more advanced visual debugger or simulation environment would be a great addition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Torq is helping us solve one of the biggest challenges in modern SecOps: manual, repetitive tasks that eat up analyst time and delay response efforts. Before implementing Torq, many of our alert triage and response processes required human intervention, scripting, or jumping between tools. Now, those workflows are fully automated — from alert enrichment and correlation to ticket creation and notification routing.

Torq is changing the way automation is used within companies. With friendly UI's , to in depth reporting with AI.

What do you like best about the product?
Torq's platform is very friendly to the automation creator which is rare in the security automation space. Additionally, our implementation team has been the most responsive support team we have ever worked with. The library of pre-built integrations has sped up our timelines and the flexible custom options have allowed us to innovate beyond pre-packaged solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little downside so far. Documentation could be enhanced but I understand they are already working towards this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Torq has allowed our SOC to completely replace several technologies used to deliver our services to our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to set up workflows, integrations, and manage everything. Customer support is very responsive and helpful and I'm always able to contact our dedicated team if anything is urgent and needs attention immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like a better way to group similar cases together rather than having to link them all together using link cases, as this is not transitive. If I link case A and case B then link case B and case C, case A and C are not associated directly. I would like to have a way of either creating an "incident" that contains multiple cases, or create a "web link" of sorts where anything within this web link is associated with everything else in the web.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to aggregate all of our clients and all of their tools into a single pane of glass and run automations based on normalized data that we've configured from each tool.

- Very easy to use if you're familiar with other SOAR platforms
- Accelerated steps
- Ability to create custom steps
- 'Switch to HTTP' feature
- Ability to test the execution of each individual step
- Link to API docs in the step configuration
- Our Torq account team is exceptional
What do you dislike about the product?
- Lack of out of the box content
- It would be nice to have the ability to set a filter when viewing the execution logs for an individual step
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need to automate tasks involved ingesting and triaging security alerts.

Willingness to help in the good times and the bad. If something isn't working, the team will find a way to acheive the desired outcome.

Hiccups due to living on GCP, but those hiccups are now a thing of the past. All is well!!!

Torq hyper-automation cybersecurity tool designed to streamline security operatoins. A limitation is the potential complexity of setupand intergration in enviroments iwht highly customized legacy systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Torq has automated response workflows, ensuring faster more accurate handling of threats. Automating repetivite tasks and freeing up resources for strategic activties. Automates access reviews, privilege assighments, and revocations. Strengthens compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
From the beginning, with the simple and easy-to-use interface, top-notch support, and leading-edge automation features I believe that it is Torq's company culture overall that shines. Whether it is building a workflow, troubleshooting an issue, or getting their perspective on your automation strategy it is the best feeling when you know the Torq team is right there with you. Working with Torq via a case or Slack, it feels like they are an extension of your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the price we pay for Torq is reasonable but if there were an option to reduce the cost or have a more diverse plan that would help when deciding how to scale up/down based on market trends.
Maybe a new pricing tier for more experienced or seasoned customers.
In the end, is it not a goal to become self-sufficient?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Torq removes a lot of our day-to-day small tasks that come in to our queue in high volume. Additionally, with automation in mind, it is easy to go and test something you feel might save you, your team, or the company time.
