Lacework is great in some areas while needs improvements in others
What do you like best about the product?
1. Anomaly-based detection works well with certain types of environments. For example, our environment has many changes deployed to it daily. At the same time, it is pretty locked down, meaning no human is allowed except in emergencies.
2. Lightweight. We don't see any performance/scalability issues between environments with Lacework and without.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Delays in detection. Because of the underlying approach, the detections tends to have a delay up to an hour.
2. Manually configured alerts are not working for us. There seems to be bugs in the feature.

Workload protection improves our security monitoring.

Lacework appears to be reputable and innovative player in the cloud security

Lacework platform uses machine learning and AI to provide automated thread detection and response capabilities.

The information fetched from AWS and azure cloud be more verbose

What do you like best about the product?
Lacework gives details about any security vulnerabilities that are caused by the provision of the resources.
Also, Lacework can be added as a plugin to slack which gives instant notifications.

What do you dislike about the product?
Lacework details how to fix the vulnerabilities, but sometimes they aren't obvious what to fix. We will need more information on all ways we can fix those issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lacework is helping me to know all the security compliance issues that are present when provisioning AWS resources.

Analysis reports were very helpful. And it seens to be very interesting for configuring to multiple clouds

Nothing as of now. But i wanted to suggest a proper personalised dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard console and the information details are shown, every tab is full of information, and it's easy for us to investigate the alerts. we're not yet fully immersed on the tool but this one looks promising for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike, but I suggest revising the closure reasons for every alert that needs to be closed. This will give proper tagging for every alert we investigated. Further review will provide once we fully utilize the Lacework.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't know if that's a problem, but when checking the alerts all the details showed to us that give us more efficient and running an investigation fast.

There are many improvements/noticeable user-friendly changes on the navigation side, Which I am hopeful the Lacework team is working on.

Great Protection Platform.
What do you like best about the product?
It protects just about every sort of platform that you can think of. Physical? Virtual? Metavirtual? And the support is phenomenal. Such a great value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the UI is a little hard to use, with data being in places that you might not expect it, or behind things where the UI hints aren't strong enough to elicit a click.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lacework filled several gaps in our security framework, specifically K8s security monitoring and network security in AWS. We are using it on all of our internal and external platforms, and it's been great so far.
