Alert Logic is a good MDR for any business
What do you like best about the product?
The automatic anomaly detection is simply perfect. The software has a sensitivity that I think is appropriate for what we do in the office.
On the other hand, the straightforward implementation seems to be a solid point for using Alert Logic in all organizations and different platforms.
It is a simple tool that perfectly meets our needs in the environments we work with to take care of our own data and our customers' information.
Notifications are a welcome detail in the office.

What do you dislike about the product?
The experience has been very good with Alert Logic. I can't say if there is anything I dislike about the product.
Perhaps it could be a little easier to configure the new algorithms for less experienced users, but I understand that this is not their target audience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our entire security system is based on Alert Logic. We always keep them active, so we don't worry about possible leaks.
We also do security testing against our own equipment to improve the algorithms and make them more accurate.
On the other hand, we do the same kind of tests when developing our customer's products.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Setting up the software in all environments takes a bit of time, especially if you want to create your own algorithms, but the result is worth it.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Alert Logic is its real-time security. In addition, technical support is provided by a team of computer security experts who work 24/7.
The real-time alerts help us focus on other activities without worrying directly about our data security.
The security solutions are fully compatible with our office routines.
On the other hand, it is versatile enough for customer service.
In other words, Alert Logic almost does all the security job for us. Of course, we need to supervise and make decisions, but the software is complete for us.

What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't really noticed anything we dislike about Alert Logic.
However, we would like the pre-determined fulfillment algorithms to be a bit more elaborate. So, we create our own custom algorithms that work excellently for now.

We use it to manage all enterprise security. Alert Logic is connected to all our systems. So, its dashboard gives us an accurate overview of what is going on.

A complete security solution for own company and clients
What do you like best about the product?
Several valuable tools prove to have everything you need, but they are often complicated to implement because of the number of features. It is not the case with Alert Logic, quite the opposite. Still, you can take a little more time to implement more features.
It is a simple tool that delivers precisely what it promises: a secure environment that we can constantly monitor.
Anomaly detection and analysis work very well and in real-time. The alerts are accurate, with many details to know what is going on with the environment.

It is a program with a good approach, but it still lacks a bit of development.
For starters, the user interface is a bit confusing and takes a couple of hours to get familiar with.
On occasion, Alert Logic sends reports of apparent security flaws in the network, but we realize that they are false positives upon review.
Its technical support is sometimes slow in resolving doubts.
These are all aspects that can be improved little by little.

We use Alert Logic for the security of our own company. We work with sensitive customer data, and the platform has been a solution to ensure privacy. It is our primary tool for identifying exposed areas to potential external threats.

What do you like best about the product?
Alert Logic MDR is beneficial and user-friendly, and everyone involved with our deployment was great and easy to work with. I would recommend purchasing Alert Logic MDR.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alert Logic MDR is a great product, and there is nothing that stands out that I didn't like; there is a learning curve with learning a new product, but with Alert Logic MDR, it was a smooth process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We did not have a stable product in place, and Alert Logic MDR solved all of our alerting issues. Now that we have Alert Logic MDR, we know everything is covered.

The Alert Logic team is well organized and knowledgeable about their products and services. With the assistance of their staff, the solution is easy to install and manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
MDR is a complicated system to set up and manage. Also, while we understand the costs of operating a 24X7 SOC would be orders of magnitude higher than the costs for Alert Logic, the solution is expensive. We need more time using their system to determine if we believe the value is here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security is a critical consideration for any environment. We are not large enough to have our own dedicated 24X7 security team on staff. However, we are large enough to where we need to have 24X7 security monitoring and response. Alert Logic MDR helps fill this need.
Best Tool for Cyber Security Detection and Analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Automated Anomaly detection and analysis. Best Works with AWS Cloud is a huge plus point for infrastructure running on AWS cloud. As you go, Pricing makes it the first choice from a pricing point of view as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
GUI is not that great. It takes a considerable time to load the graphs, and it is not intuitive to make your charts as you like. Sometimes a bit time-consuming to search for your logs due to the UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to monitor and analyze our event logs and Web application firewall. It detects attacks on our external applications and sometimes automated action as defined by the profile.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's an extremely well-designed application. We have tested many samples against its protection before we have implemented it. It never failed us yet. Log Analysis is great. The only con is the UI, where the application needs to be updated to be more intuitive.
Great scanner, but some alerts are vague.
What do you like best about the product?
The dafault/built-in alerts are very helpful. e.g., automated log review for failed password attempts. I also like the monthly summary repots showing the comparison of alerts for this month, and the previous month.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the alerts don't provide quite enough information to know how to proceed right away. It can often be found quickly but sometimes take a bit of googling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Alert Logic to monitor the LAN to keep track of things that might become issues in our audits. The log reviews help save us time manually reviewing them.

The simulations are not every day, and interruptions are minimal.

The "training" is very basic and eats up a lot of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There have been zero things gained and almost nothing lost... Net zero is what I hope for with applications like these.
