Jamf Pro Review
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro makes managing our Mac fleet efficient and reliably. We really like the support provided by Jamf and also the support availability for new major os.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to natively target azure groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency on management of our fleet.

Swiss army knife of MDM
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use and the ability to manage my MacOS, iPadOS, iOS, and tvOS devices in one space with ability to share information with other services.
What do you dislike about the product?
more criteria for search functions would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
mobile device management in multiple regions, patching large groups of devices.
Apple Device Management made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro's capabilities to create and manage policies, configuration profiles, setup automated device enrollment process's, and provides clear and easy to read reporting makes asset management a simple and fulfilling endeavor.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jamf Pro has some limitations in regards to needing different instances of the server for different domains. I wish we had the option to manage both domains in one console but this is not currently possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing and applying CIS benchmarks and DISA STIG enforcement

The zero touch for deployment is very good for our environment.

I see that so far Jamf Pro is good for me

Best Jamf Management on the market
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to manage computers and mobile devices as I need is unmatched.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of my dislikes revolve around the UX as Jamf works to implement new functionality and styling. The same settings across different areas are presented differently and you interact with them differently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apple hardware lifecycle management, software deployment, etc.
Great tool for managing devices

I am only able to do my job because of Jamf Pro
What do you dislike about the product?
Wipe commands do not work properly. This would be helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
JAMF makes it easy to monitor and inventory the Macs in my department. I enjoy tinkering with policies and configurations to get our computers to be secure and updated the way we need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish it was a bit more user friendly. I believe the new AI tool will help a novice be able to accomplish the goals he/she needs without too many issues.

It is helping us manage and inventory our departments devices

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Jamf Pro when it was called Casper. I'm that old school. Over the last decade they have listened to customer feedback and really advanced the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to be super picky I would say some the views are inconsistent in how you can sort the data displayed.

Letting us build Mac that are validated to be secure before they are handed to a user

Great functionality and ability to manage devices how my org wants to.

Not really about jamf pro itself but in the wrong hands it can do damage and/or become very convoluted.

Being able to manage many devices easily.
Jamf Pro Performance in Education
What do you like best about the product?
Making smart groups and advanced searches make it easy to manage and maintain devices, as well as see numbers of devices in certain states.
What do you dislike about the product?
With our institution of thousands of devices split between all the schools in the UNC-System, performance takes a huge hit due to the site existing for a long time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to manage both our macOS and iOS devices, including providing applications and services to our users on campus.
