What do you like best about the product?
The Securerfame product is easy to use and has excellent support resources who are eager to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Audits are done by 3rd party firms and aren't up to the same quality of service provided by Secureframe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customers needed SOC 2 Type 1 & 2 and GDPR compliance; Secureframe helped us get compliant quickly and easily.

What do you like best about the product?
Every Secureframe employee I interacted with via email or zoom went above and beyond.
Tom Kidd, Brandon Harris and Jonathan Leach supported us through every step with clarity.
Their platform integrates with many known services like AWS, which was a significant value add for us.

What do you dislike about the product?
A high-level priority order of events would be helpful within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe has helped us set up Information Security Management within our company.
That will empower us to become SOC 2 certified.

Secureframe - What a time saver!!!
What do you like best about the product?
My first impression was, Wow, easy to understand interface and great dashboard to show the executives. Once I started getting into it, I realized what a huge time saver this would be in working towards our SOC 2 certification. At first, we tried to go at it alone following published standards, and it became evident that we would never achieve what we wanted in the short amount of time we had. After initializing Secureframe and syncing all our 3rd party applications, we let Secureframe do what they said it would do. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly we saw results.
From there, it was now what controls needed attention; we didn't have to worry about the ones already passing and focused our time on those not passing. Secureframe took us from trying to do it on our own over months to weeks. Another tremendous time-saving aspect is working with their partner auditors. These auditors are familiar with the application and reporting that it free's up my time to work on other things while the auditors use the application to confirm our controls.
BTW, their support team is second to none. Support was quick to respond and resolved my issue within an hour. My CSM is always available and has been a great help in the onboarding process and follow-up.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not that this is about what I dislike, but I did notice a few outdated instructions on the test pages, which made it a little more challenging to follow along. The current instructions made it easy how to correct a failed control. Most of this was within the AWS integration. AWS is constantly changing, so I attribute this more to AWS than Secureframe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe is helping us achieve SOC 2 compliance quickly. Our customers have been asking for what certifications we have, what industry standards we are following, etc., during the sales cycle, which has prolonged the deal closure. We can now get our certification and present it during the sales cycle, which will shorten the process and get the deals closed faster. As a SaaS company, that is all we hear now, "Are you SOC 2?". We can now answer "Yes". With Secureframe, we've been able to get the certification much faster than had we gone on our own.

The software is not what they claim it to be. Very complicated and the support is very bad.

As a Start Up getting good help and making things easy is crucial.

The dashboard that had everything we needed in one place.

We were Beta testers with the Audit that went very well but just like any Beta test some of the communication from the Secureframe platform to the Auditor could have been better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The were fast, cost-effective and Easy to use, with excellent customer Service. They were always very responsive.
Secureframe has been extremely helpful as we have prepared for our SOC 2 Type 2 audit.

The integrations that are available to pull our data automatically and ensure we have the required practices in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having more detailed instructions for the failing tests would have been helpful. There was recently an update that has helped alleviate this issue, so progress is being made!

Fantastic platform to achieve your compliance goals
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe really simplifies the compliance journey, breaking down complex regulations into actionable tasks and remediations. Integrations are powerful and valuable, and they have a lot of resources to jump-start your company's policies and procedures.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few quirks to the platform, and they are still rolling out features to assist with ongoing annual compliance milestones, such as SOC II Type 2. There are a few bugs, but the support teams are quick to respond, including talking with auditors to clear up any questions they have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Achieving and maintaining SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance for our small but growing company. Thanks to them, we've achieved our compliance goals with a light resource commitment.

What do you like best about the product?
I have to mention their Customer Success team first. They really have a plan in place to make sure you succeed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some minor UI issues, especially around changing settings or making the changes stick.

automating a lot of our compliance efforts in one place. the controls check list is a super helpful feature to know how close you are to compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe makes it possible for small shops to finally overcome the daunting task of becoming SOC II Type I and Type II compliant.
The best part about picking Secureframe is you'll get access to their customer support team via Slack and recurring meetings as you prepare for your audit.
I also thought the platform was intuitive, which made it easy to track where you and your team are at any point in the process.

What do you dislike about the product?
You occasionally have to provide a screenshot if you have a product that they haven't yet integrated with. However, the platform makes it incredibly easy to upload and track evidence (screenshots). Overall, they provide a great alternative when/if needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Becoming SOC II Type I and Type II compliant to meet customer requirements.
Promising tools, but falls way short.
What do you like best about the product?
Has an app to run tests against your infrastructure. It has integrations for most major cloud providers, identity providers, HR systems, code repositories, etc. However the testing tool fails in a large number of ways, it doesn't refresh, flags errors that you have no way to resolve (after support calls, it was identified that rate limiting prevents them from properly being able to sync historic data at least with Github).
What do you dislike about the product?
Their tool presents many errors with little to no information on how to resolve them (i.e. says the problem with X HAQM tool in region, but fails to identify WHICH regions it's finding the problems.). Also plenty of false negatives -- fails to sync (even after days) with various providers. Presents error messages that once you resolve them, it displays an entire additional set -- so you never quite know when you might be done, and some errors you cannot clear

It's supposed to help get ready for SOC-2 compliance verification. It also can do HIPPA and other certifications. We are only utilizing it for SOC-2.
