Excellent Customer Service Management
What do you like best about the product?
Our Account Manager (Alexis) has been thorough and responsive to every request and question. Always connecting us with the right resources or technical team. She also did amazing pre-launch walk-throughs to assist in resolving any remaining issues
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the early integrations or automation features seemed a bit clunky, so we didn't use them right out of the gate. We would consider using the MDM integration later
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Industry certifications in information security are important due to regulation and insurance needs. Secureframe was the quickest and most efficient way for us to navigate this process without having to build an in-house tool to manage all the required information.
Secureframe helped us understand our compliance journey
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe did a great job of connecting with our various tools and helping us understand what's needed to get to a state of compliance. Their support was also exceptional, with regular check-ins and prompts from our account manager and integrating directly into our communication stack with Slack Connect
What do you dislike about the product?
Everywhere the Secureframe product was lacking, we were able to remedy by talking to their support team. We weren't very clear on exactly which vendors / tools were in scope, but a quick call with their rep was able to help us clear this up and we were sailing smoothly shortly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to be SOC2 secure because some of our customers were seeking SOC2 compliance and needed all vendors to be compliant as well. We needed this to close an important deal and secureframe helped us scope out that timeline quickly.
Greatly simplifies HIPAA compliance for us.
What do you like best about the product?
I've previously implemented HIPAA on my own, crafting policies, sourcing training, monitoring our compliance, and getting things independently audited. While I've done this before, and ran a HIPAA compliant business for 6 years doing so, it is a substantial time commitment. Secureframe has saved me probably 100s of hours and made the process so much easier. The ROI is simple to understand and has been a massive improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few nit-picky things. When we first started we were using their desktop agent, which functions as a lightweight MDM. We quickly realized it wasn't enough for our needs and switched to Mosyle, which Secureframe also integrates with. So I'd probably skip the Secureframe Agent the next time and just start with Mosyle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The three biggest ones I can think of
* Time. Secureframe has literally saved me 100s of hours of policy writing, training vendor selection and implementation, auditing our compliance, etc.
* Easy exporting of our policies/risk assessments etc when asked for those during a third party audit.
* Ease of use. The UI is (mostly) intuitive and self explanatory.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's been a no-brainer for us. Stop rolling your own HIPAA compliance and use them.
Great support; app is improving
What do you like best about the product?
The support we get from our support representative Alexis H. is great. She's super responsive and is very much on our side representing us to the reset of SecureFrame. The app itself is new and is still under a lot of development, but is headed in a good direction.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app doesn't always do what you expect, but nothing it does jeopardizes the audit, it just makes getting read not as smooth.
The integration with our auditor, Prescient, wasn't great, but I think that was Prescient's fault; we ended up copying-and-pasting things from SF to Prescient's tool.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of everything for us is nice - it would be much more disorganized without SF. The integrations with our cloud provider and our HR system is also very nice to keep us up to date. The provided templates are really helpful, and the experience our support representative (Alexis, again) has with auditors is very helpful - we've only done this once (and will likely only do parts of it once) so having someone who has done it more than once is really helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1. You'll use the product longer than you think you will; factor that in
2. Integrations are nice, but are just table stakes, don't over-index on them
3. Templates and example forms are worth more than you think.

Great value for SOC 2 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
- Secureframe has the best UI/UX among the vendors we evaluated.
- Contrary to what competitors say about Secureframe, Secureframe actually has pretty good integrations and automation.
- The policy builder saved us a lot of time. It differentiates from other vendors that use Google docs.
- The Secureframe team has been very helpful with prompt responses in the Slack channel.
- The pricing is transparent, and we get to choose the best auditor ourselves.

What do you dislike about the product?
- It takes 1-2 days to refresh the test results after we make a fix in AWS. Their team can manually refresh it for you, but a more real-time experience would be preferred.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secureframe helps us be compliant with SOC 2, and the tests we pass on Secureframe can be reused for other compliance reports.
Easy to use and helped improve security
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoyed working with Secureframe since they were very transparent in their process and helped ensure that our processes were secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike since the process was smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to get to our SOC2 compliance was critical to our software, and they helped solve those issues.
Great platform
What do you like best about the product?
The evidence you need to collect is discretely broken down into unambiguous deliverables.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to boil down to exactly what is needed, secureframe errors on the side of too much evidence
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting SOC2
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Secureframe has been a great help
Great Customer Support
What do you like best about the product?
White glove service and connections to other organizations required in SOC2 compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complicated and intensive labor needed. Required cooperation across departments and tons of hours of work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamline Soc2
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great team and product to guide you through SOC2. But requires lots of hours to make happen.
Great time and resource saver for a startup
What do you like best about the product?
Secureframe helped us gather all of the necessary evidence for our SOC2 certification, and integrated with many of the tools that we use for security, HR, and development.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few bugs in the tool itself, but they were usually resolved. There were also some integrations that were not available for some of the tools we use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to be SOC2 certified to meet customer needs and corporate goals, and without a tool like Secureframe, it would have been very hard to accomplish with our smaller team as a startup.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Secureframe is a great tool, and one of the most helpful pieces was the integrations.
