IBM App Connect is a fantastic API Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it connects various kind of APIs which is very useful for dealing with customers business APIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The GUI needs to be improved in order to compete other competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It can easily connect cloud and on-premise systems efficiently.

IBM App Connect - The integration service
What do you like best about the product?
I love many things about ibm app connect.The major ones are it being able to securely link data from different sources.Suppose you have data on cloud and some data on your server storage,You can link both of them for single usage on a single application to improve your execution and development speed.The main idea of the application is to let you focus on the major development area and the work to manage the resources is left to ibm app connect.It helps you manage your resources with much ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have some privacy issues but they had been solved,but I don't think generalized solution was updated.So they should do it as soon as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use IBM app connect for managing my resources while developing applications for my company and some of our client's organization.The main usage of this was when were planning of deploying our application on a large scale for our customers and also their clients which had a very great impact on the storage variations,so we used ibm app connect to link all the resources.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend ibm app connect for connecting and managing your resources for your application and whenever you are having less time and want to be time efficient,you can leave the managing of storage part on app connect and improve your other services to make you application more innovative and perfect.I recommend it but if you are high on budget because this solution is much costly.

What do you like best about the product?
IBM App connect is a data integration application that allows you to connect from various sources to form a single system from a complex one.It also offers on premise and across cloud integrations with flexible deployment.It helps you develop hybrid systems to work on.The cost is little high but worth of spending as it helps you reduce complexity.IBM App connect offers a user friendly and a novel approach for industry leading applications.The main advantage is that we can actually leave the problem of managing infrastructure to ibm app connect and actually focus on our main purpose of application.So it has many great features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is high which is what I dislike about ibm connect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using ibm app connect at my organization for connecting the distributed infrastructure of client which might be on premise or on cloud to integrate all of them togather for single access usage.The main profit of ibm app connect is for large scale applications because of its cost it is not suitable for small scale applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend using ibm app connect for integrating various data infrastructures into one especially for large scale applications because it is much high in cost which might adversely effect the overall budget,so if you are having a large scale application this cost is mitigated and so it is recommended for large scale applications to integrate the data from various sources so that you don't have to worry about managing the infrastructure and spend more time on actual development.
This is great software to make great designs.
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things that I like the most abaout this software is that it provides an integrated platform for running, creating and managing APIs, also you can quickly develop integrations between systems that are done in other software and that would take much longer and difficult to achieve.
Its reliability and the large number of endpoints for connectivity are valuable features. I like the ease with which you can add personalized applications with IBM integration bus.
It’s interesting how you can perform extremely complex integrations, but when configured it seems like any other application, your experience to connect SaaS applications with other applications and your own local systems is just as simple.

What do you dislike about the product?
Among the things that I don’t like, is the difficulty to get immediate help, however it is beneficial for us to have a support team with very high knowledge, therefore they should improve the response time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit I have obtained has been to integrate our product databases with Salesforce, the development of API proxy is fairly easy with IBM app connect, it has a graphical developer interface, we can quickly develop solutions that are connecting to anything on the cloud, without having to build those connectors ourselves, so it helps to optimize time and makes it very intuitive
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can do some really powerful things with this system. The overall design is an attempt to make configurable some of the routine tasks/common functionality, but allow for development/customization of the core of the application.

Application crashes sometimes while doing intergration.

The JSON parser included in the Application was very helpful to convert the HTTP response into desired JSON objects .

Although the development and reporting part is not great, it does excel in Data Transformation, Integration and API Management.

The best part of the app connect is that its very fast and easy to maintain.

Sometimes it makes more complex while building api's and connecting them together.

This actually helped in syncing both cloud data and also the on premise data, which was always a hectic work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Probably if they can make it more user-friendly and some default api's using AI technology, that will make it a better app than it is currently now.
Excellent platform to connect and manage APIs from various sources
What do you like best about the product?
I like IBM App Cloud as I have been using it from the last 2 years to integrate the business data in my organization from various apps like SAP and Salesforce without writing a single line of code. It is possible because of the Standalone feature of IBM Bluemix. It is a platform to integrate the entire business data using a single application and supports lots of integration styles like SOA, Micro services, APIs and more.
It makes my daily work very simple by organizing all the required data in a safe and secured place. The deployment is done at a rapid pace and it offers various cloud options as per the business requirements.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only difficult I find in using IBM App Connect is that it doesn’t offer any detailed log reports about the data shared between the apps and how much data is getting lost in between. Apart from that it also doesn’t provide unlimited licensed and you need to have individual licenses for every endpoint. This increases the overall project budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using IBM App Connect to deal with the client’ data and since all the data is distributed across different clouds & formats, IBM App Connect helps us in getting all the data together at a single place. This makes our work even more faster. The most beneficial part is that whenever any changes will occur in an individual application, all the inter connected applications will get automatically updated as soon as the API request is made. This makes it a powerful tool for working with integrated solutions where lots of apps are dependent on each other for data sharing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is highly recommended for large projects where data is distributed among various apps.

Need experience, otherwise it's very hard to configure and setup on producction. The documentation is not enough

We connect applications and data across all of our environments and simplify the messaging between diferent component, connection between clusters and devices.

I dont like this product because its very hard to configurate and a wast of time. But is very usefull if time is not a problem.
