A must for Scaling Companies
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about CleverTap is that it provides access to a variety of tools and channels to communicate with your users, all in one place. There's no need for extensive integrations—CleverTap offers almost everything you need to grow your operations and sales effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, I believe they could be more flexible with pricing for startups that are just getting started. Not all companies can afford a tool like CleverTap, even though it makes a significant difference. Startups generally need traction in the early stages, and that traction comes from delivering the right message through the right channel at the right time—something CleverTap excels at. It's unfortunate that not all startups can access this advantage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem it solves for me is that, at MOVii, we have a large number of products within the app, as well as different types of users, making it impossible to manage without a tool like Clevertap. It allows me to hyper-personalize messages and content throughout the user journey.
It is useful for all types of communications, not just commercial but also support, education, and, in general, serves as a bridge to better understand my users.
It’s fantastic to be able to communicate across any part of my application. If optimized well, it allows me to gather feedback and engage with my users at key moments.

Functional but limited for experimentation.
What do you like best about the product?
Having the support of Customer Success (CS) to resolve doubts and unblock processes that may arise during the journey.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to build journeys and create complex logics within them (e.g., branching based on an event property or a user property), as well as testing different sending times within the same journey.
Additionally, there is limited flexibility in creating the segments that trigger the journeys, particularly when it comes to incorporating OR logic and a certain degree of complexity beyond whether an event is triggered or not.
For last, Having the option to import user information through SQL queries, which allows for faster processes, reduces dependency on the tech team, and facilitates real-time personalization of communications without the need to upload CSV files or develop features to include user properties.

Automating communications and triggering journeys when the user meets certain conditions. Displaying valuable information through in-app banners when specific criteria are met.

What do you like best about the product?
Its ability to deliver personalized and data-driven marketing automation at scale. The platform’s powerful segmentation tools enable us to target specific customer groups with tailored campaigns, which has significantly improved user engagement. The real-time analytics dashboard provides actionable insights, allowing us to make data-backed decisions quickly. I also appreciate the ease of use, with intuitive tools for managing push notifications and in-app messages.

One thing I dislike about CleverTap is the steep learning curve, as the training materials could be more intuitive and comprehensive

This benefits me by improving user engagement, streamlining campaign management, and making it easier to track performance, leading to more effective marketing strategies

Personalization at Scale Made Real
What do you like best about the product?
CleverTap lets us achieve the true superpower of personalization at scale. With it, we have used real-time segmentation and the "Journeys" feature to create campaigns that feel personal, not robotic. It's almost like having a direct line to the needs of our users. We have used the platform mostly around the time when it was reactivating users, and the results have been lower churn and more engaged users who seem to be coming back for more.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some feature are complicated, and for many who lack either sufficient tech skills or a supportive dev team, it can feel impenetrable. Also, the In-App banner creative tool is a little limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CleverTap is basically helping us to set up clear rules of engagement. We've established the exact moment in the journey where sending a particular type of communication is most effective at keeping the user from going off the deep end (i.e., churning). Using these "rules of engagement," we've constructed quite a few segment- and funnel-specific strategies that together lead to a remarkable number of users coming back again and again.

I like all the information you can get from the consumer throughout the sales funnel.

I find the integration difficult and the documentation outdated

Clevertap makes it easy for me to have all my customers in one place, segment them by lists and send them personalized communications.

What do you like best about the product?
For now, Clevertap is one of the fundamental tools for my communication and customer retention tasks within the company where I work. The variety of channels and the tools to strategically segment the users of our application greatly simplify our effort to generate strategic communications with a real impact on the use of the application. The integration into our platform was simple and quick, despite having encountered a couple of very specific issues that we were able to resolve with the support team.

The design and distribution of some sections are not clear, especially in analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to Clevertap, we were able to increase the frequency of use of different products in our application and precisely measure the use of each tool we offer to our users.
Capable product that does not work
What do you like best about the product?
Good amount of functionality and ideas behind the product. We aplied the Clevertap for our customer marketing automation project at the middle-size transportation and logistics company, however after initial success the whole system stopped working and had to be replaced with customer.io

Even simple things do not work and support is a waste of time

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is that you can see a lot of data and have diverse information about the clients. And that can be translated into sales, making the corresponding campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least is that it has different errors or limitations when creating campaigns. You can't do basic things like applying different segmentation filters.
I also feel that it could have more updated things, like artificial intelligence in the journeys. The email templates are very basic and the resources are limited.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CleverTap gives me the information I need to make decisions and improve my campaigns, such as email open rates, for example. It also helps me keep all communication centralized, for example I can send app push, web push, email, etc. from only one place.
Good tool for engagement and segmentation
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to use, the analytics and reporting module is useful, and also the automated journeys section.
What do you dislike about the product?
Information about user engagement with the channels is not so readily available in a simple way, it can be done but requires applying quite a few filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The sending of automatic communications to our clients benefits us in the development of the customer lifecycle.
