From Scheduling to Screening — Zoom Workplace Makes Recruiting Smoother
What do you like best about the product?
As a recruiter, I can say Zoom Workplace has become an indispensable tool for managing my day-to-day interview schedules. Some of the best things I like about it are integrated scheduling and calendar sync, which makes it incredibly easy to send invites and block time for screening calls or panel interviews—no back-and-forth needed. And, HD video and audio clarity help ensure that communication is smooth, especially during high-stakes interviews where first impressions matter.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Zoom Workplace is a solid tool for interview scheduling and virtual meetings, there are a few areas that could be improved from my perspective. I would say occasional syncing issues with calendars, especially when rescheduling interviews or handling last-minute changes. Sometimes, candidates receive outdated links, or time conflicts arise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can say Zoom's seamless integration with Outlook and Google Calendar helps automate scheduling and ensures time blocks are accurate for both candidates and for our team. With Zoom, I can quickly set up debrief calls with hiring managers, record interviews (with consent), and share them for review—speeding up feedback loops.
A Modern Software That Adapted With the Times
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and implementation, customization, easy user adoption, and easy to integrate into modern IdPs
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost is pricey and everything is licensed/SKU'd out so unless you're receiving immediate ROI it's going to be a cost of doing business
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is solving our communication needs for a global company, allowing us to connect on video with colleagues and clients alike

It's easy to conduct meetings remotely and collaborate with my customers and colleagues.

Sometimes I find that zoom freezes which isn't great.

It is very easy use. Incredibly intuitive and I like the features.

Sometimes, depending on the invitation you may have to do a CAPTCHA or password to log in.

It is a great tool for video conferencing. It is easy to use and most users are very familiar with it. It is a convenient way to meet.

its easy to connect with candidates and screen them over video and we'll get to know that they are good match for the role
Zoom is great for connecting remote employees to one another
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use. How it connects everyone from all over. It can be used internationally. You don't need an account to you, you can use a link to the internet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it freezes a lot, more interactive settings would be cool. Adding polls, or surveys would be cool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting me to my co workers across the country. Allowing me to train better in my position by allowing me to see my managers screen.
Best video conferencing platform for meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to setup and the user experience is also good. Recording of the meeting is a good feature. I use it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data usage is more than on other platforms. Full screen has some issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the major problem of remote collaboration which i liked the best.

Nothing to point out, honestly. It's been a good experience.

The ability to have meetings with a lot of people and not lose quality of sound and/or picture. AI assisting tools that make everything smoother.
An excellent tool for any workplace, but great for virtual companies!
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how organized Zoom is with all of my video meetings each day. It makes it very easy to join each call with just a click. It also has a great new AI note taking feature that will transcribe my meetings if I want it to, and that has been super helpful! I also have a Zoom number that is my work line that even allows text messaging. Such a great tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have any dislikes at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to see my teammates and attend meetings virtually. It also allows me to interview candidates all over the country while also transcribing the meeting notes as needed. Lastly, I use my Zoom phone number for communication with my candidates, which includes phone and text.
