Best ELT in Market
What do you like best about the product?
1)Fivetran Support is something that makes Fivetran unique .Thumbs up to their knowledgable Support team.
2) Any connector you name it today,Fivetran has capability.
3)Their CDC is amazing and need not require any monitoring,you configure and literally forget.
4)Their new operating model on pay as you use is also working great.

What do you dislike about the product?
Logs have come a long way as well But still while it comes to driling down to data level a particular object its challenging.
Can have a room to improve in that but again support is doing that job but would like the developers to do that

I have mostly enjoyed the experience of using fivetran
What do you like best about the product?
It has a very friendly interface that helps newcomers learn to create pipelines

It is microfocussed and could include a few more things
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used fivetran with snowflake to create data pipelines. It is very cloud friendly
Solid fan for everything I've needed to use it for

UI and communications from Fivetran really good. Notifications as well

Some of the documentation could definitely be improved for regular SWEs without as much data experiecne

Moving data from one place in our system to another

What do you like best about the product?
Fivetran is a really good product. It simplifies the data ingestion from SAAS applications. Less need to learn the API. Predictable scheduling and support is good. They are constantly improving the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data discrepancies on & on has been an issue. Faster ingestion is needed. We are looking forward to improved performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better data insights using Snowflake. Since, we ingest all the data, its really easy to connect the dots.

What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use and more confortable and user friendly to use
What do you dislike about the product?
For some of connectors, we have predefined tables where we do not have the option to select required tables in those cases it will select all the tables to snow to the warehouse where the credit will burn
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It will connect all the social media and easy to use the Fivetran compare to other connectors.We have lot of option in Fivetran and we have used almost all the options
Drastically reduces time to proving ideas
What do you like best about the product?
The time savings for our engineers and how quickly we can get the data we need, when we need it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price per unit of data if you only have a few connectors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting multiple external partners and data providers in one seamless interface. We've also noticed how quickly our analytics team uses their ui to upload ad-hoc analyses.
Easy to manage and find the right data you want
What do you like best about the product?
I like the structure of Fivetran and the searching bar feature (i often use it to search what tables/columns we have in our database) and which tables are synced/not synced.
What do you dislike about the product?
It'd be great if we can see how each table is connected with the other (what's the primary key for each table that we can join on?) For example, snowflake has a feature that allows you to see the logic tree which gives me a quick look at how each table connected with each other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
extracting data for analytical projects, operational data, strategic analytics, business-related. I'm entirely sure what this question is about.
Fivetran has been a very useful source to keep all my data.

Easy to have different warehouses to keep everything organized.

A downside is that not all data source types are supported

I am able to get my data into one place for clients to be put in Alteryx

Meet with sales reps to answer questions in the begining beacuse this was very helpful to my organization

Fivetran has been an invaluable tool to get our data to where it needs to be.

My company is taking Fivetran away, which is unfortunate!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting data from many different sources.
Fivetran was fine, but needs improvement
What do you like best about the product?
It updates daily and accurately and great customer serivce! We had a great time getting to work with Fivetran, and they were very smooth in demo-ing the tool, showing us how to get the information we needed. They also helped us figure out a price point and solution that made sense for our business needs and we were able to negotiate a deal that worked for both parties! Since switching over to Fivetran from our previous ETL provider, we've noticed that the data is faster and more accurate. All of our users have been extremely grateful for Fivetran because it gave us reliable access to a dataset that we otherwise would not be able to extract data from, which has been highly crucial to success.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, while I love most of the features of Fivetran and am very grateful that we were able to use it for extracting Facebook Business Manager statistics, one area where we could see improvement is customization. There are canned reports that we have to use, even if we're only using one of the 70 fields available. As a result, we are needlessly spending money on information that is not being used. It would be great to have a feature that allows for customization that we need in order to reduce costs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fivetran is helping us bring our facebook data into Looker, our business intelligence tool, which is essential for use across many teams. This data is used by almost 100 people and is instrumental in making key business decisions. We are so grateful for Fivetran and especially loved how easy it was to set up!
