You must use Fivetran
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the interface and how it tends to be effectively utilized by any client with no specialized foundation. The astonishing client benefit is one of the significant things that I generally point to when I consider fivetran's administration. Any investigating messages or inquiries that we may have are constantly replied at a greatly mindful group, regardless of whether it is an inquiry to our AM or a specialized issue that may even be grabbed by one of the originators. What's more, any requirement for another coordination that we ask for is frequently considered and afterward in the end worked in. The time it spares by having a typical joining prepared to go is greatly useful. What do you dislike about the product?
Periodic delays do happen and there's occasionally no genuine great clarification for it. More often than not I simply accept that there is a major issue with the administration Fivetran is attempting to pull from yet there isn't much detail on it/gauges on when a deferred association may get up to speed. Other than that, there's no real way to make associations with administrations that aren't pre-constructed which is justifiable however that ought to show signs of improvement after some time as Fivetran includes new connectors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This program has enabled me to deal with a dominant part of my major ETL mixes without really writing or keep up any code. This has been enormously helpful for my opportunity as I'm not ready to commit more spotlight on other, more esteem included assignments for the organization. I'm right now just a group of 1 and the time that Fivetran recoveries is tremendous. It simply is an astounding item that does precisely what it says it does and does it dependably.

Use it with your new computer. Remember that you always need to use an Internet connection

Seamless ETL
What do you like best about the product?
With jut a few clicks, I can set up a data pipeline. Google sheets for example, can flow smoothly to your db, you can set up a sync frequency and you don't have to think about data updation, etc - with no coding involved
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much - on a bit of an expensive side though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lets data from difference sources flow into our DB for analytics. Don't have to get into ETL processes too much
Easy and streamlined

The ease of access, and use, reliability, customer support.

Nothing in particular, we are happy with the product.

Data analytics, much faster answers and benefit of using single source.
Fivetran is Alright..
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of access. All pertinent information is easily accessible in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fivetran isn’t as commercialized and as widely used and accepted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our important business documents are held in one place. Does not require employment of an engineer to utilize. Saves money in the long-run.
One stop for data analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Everything in regards to consumer data and site that provide assistance with data analytics are housed in one spot for easy access.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is not too user friendly. Could use a bit more work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amount of page views and interest.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make the website more user friendly by providing more information in the resources section.
Gets data from Point A to Point B
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to have quick replication of data with minimal lag. Automated reporting if data is out of date
What do you dislike about the product?
A full schema refresh takes us 2-3 days and knocks us offline from monitoring up-to-date business KPIs, running updated analyses, etc. This is likely due to us having massive amounts of data (from a count(1) perspective, not size of tables perspective).
There's little to no progress estimate on the front end UI to see how long this refresh might take and you need to enable back end logging in HAQM to see where it's at in the synch process and derive rough estimates of completion time.
The support folks, while knowledgeable, must be swamped. There are times where there is an immediate issue but response times take hours. This has caused us to run firedrills to try and fix an issue when it was due to something on Fivetran's side but we didn't get confirmation of it until a few hours later.

Our data is up to date and we can see if there are any issues much quicker than having to wait 1-5 hours to see if a release caused any issues with our users. This was the lag we were used to dealing with before we switched to fivetran.
Easy to get started, very well structured data
What do you like best about the product?
How easy set up was - doing similar work on our end would have taken months or years.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much that I dislike about it - but more connections into things that we use like appsflyer would be nice!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed information about what our users are doing/how our users are interacting with us off platform, and we've now got that data - its crucial to our success.
A great partner of ours that helps us get the data we need.
What do you like best about the product?
They have a great amount of connectors and their data comes in appending which allows us to track changes. Their support is pretty on point and will often respond fairly quickly when we contact them about problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still a lot of work in terms of tracking that I would like to have improved. We often have to do syncs where we are unaware the timeline of which can cause a delay in terms of data consumption on our side.

Fivetran helps us replace engineer time by providing us with a well built way to connect to some of our most used DBs and third party applications and retrieve data.
Fivetran works so well we don't even think about ETL much.
What do you like best about the product?
Great service and people. I have used them since they started, the service and features keep getting better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike. Sometimes we have specific needs that we could work on right away if we were coding our own ETL, but it is just not worth it any more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pulling data from external and internal sources into a data warehouse for reporting and analysis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Fivetran is still our first choice after using them for almost 3 years. With cloud based services like Looker that don't require a traditional data warehouse to be designed and built, I was looking for a service exactly like Fivetran, that simply moves the data from one place and does the necessary data type transforms for what ever destination is used.
Incredible ROI; Replaces a full-time software engineer

Damn simple to setup and add new data sources. No maintenance required. Support was always available
What do you dislike about the product?
Some initial problems syncing very large SaaS instances, but Fivetran Support worked around them and everything

Automated data pipeline - exporting data from databases, NetSuite, flat files and social media into HAQM Redshift
