many functionalities to playaround with endpoint complete suite
What do you like best about the product?
we are usingCheckpoint endpoint complete suite which contained Checkpoint Sandblast module for anti-bot, anti-ransomeware and threat emulation(sand box function).
This endpoint suite provides most functionalities that one endpoint solution should has, disk encryption, USB block, traditional AV + behavior monitoring(Sand blast), VPN and etc. Sandblast is easy to use
management console is good to configure for so many individual functions.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some points beside it's functionnaliy.
report is one point need to be highlighted, some parts need to forward to smartconsole for smart event and configuration will be lost if we do version upgrade in management console itself,
reports are also difficult to integrate with other system or generate in an easy to read manner.
implementation is a pain point too, due to checkpoint's special regime to not allow user to easily remove from the system, we have some issues to implement or remove via software center (SCCM).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the endpoint, or Checkpoint SandBlast is purchased to monitor, log and block advanced malicious attack that would be triggered by user's behavior.
From the report it is proving it's value to our business function to protect user from download, access, open unauthorized files, not only exe file, but also help to figure out protential risks in Video files, audio files, PDF, Word, excel, PPT and some other special business format that are commonly or uncommonly used.

Solid product with features not everyone has.
What do you like best about the product?
What really impressed us was the encrypted file restoration feature which restores encrypted files back to the original location. We also liked the reporting which clearly identifies the machine, variant of malware and how it behaves.
This removes some of the guess work from explaining to your directors "how did this happen?" which they are going to ask. Another nice feature is the checking of online forms for malicious code which may compromise, passwords and credit card data.
They also didn't try to sell me what we didn't need, they simply explained the levels of protection and what you gain at each level which didn't make us feel pressured to buy more than we actually needed.
After purchasing our selected package their team remotely walked us through the setup of our cloud based server and gave us training on the different aspects of our package including deployment, organizing and how to make changes.
The interface is relatively easy to navigate but of course there is a learning curve and they were more than happy to answer any questions we had.I am very pleased with this product and the support we got was fantastic every step of the way which is also very important.

It would be nice if you can set certain hours for agent upgrades such as only done at night.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had lost confidence in our previous solution and we decided to run our previous Antimalware/Antivirus solution alongside the Sandblast. Sandblast cleaned up machines that were infected with Trojans etc that our old antivirus was just ignoring. This helps me sleep better at night knowing I'm better protected.

Visit the Website . it is very thorough and take advantage of the demo they really show the software in action.

It has a very intuitive graphical interface.

This solution does not have a client for computers with a Linux operating system.

We were looking for a product that mainly detected and eliminated ransomware.

Personalization based on the needs of each client or envireoment, and the possibility of transforming the different security layers in a single environment to all IT security.

Many years ago, version upgrades were complex, but nowadays they have greatly improved and the procedure has been standardized

Every day the work environment is more diversified and therefore, the security layer applied by Check Point SandBlast blade allows to stop multiple attacks from a unified.

Checkpoint Sandblast agents is quite robust and its ability to detect zero day malware is fantastic.It is easy to implement as well

There are no downside as such but the CLI is quite different for troubleshooting

All our mails and https traffic is protected from all kind of known and unknown malwares

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the user experience re: Layout, as well as the information shared when an attack has been thwarted. This is helpful as you can review the product to see where the vector originated from. Protection from attacks both from our end users, etc are important and this product would have helped.
What do you dislike about the product?
The solution does not have too many quirks, the Check Point SandBlast Agent for Browsers when not configured properly can cause strain on the End-Users. The thin line between protection and the ability to download files can hamper production as well, however, the protection is important. One must be very careful when working with the application as it is possible for the solution to block communication between frontend and backend servers. This is easily fixed with the relevant settings being tweaked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems being solved are replacing our previous solution as well as protecting the enterprise. Benefits realized was the blocking of various attacks that would have left our organization crippled. The product would have saved us on numerous occasions which is critical for the field we are in, especially during this time re: COVID-19.

The ease of management and deployment. The advanced features such as anti-ransomware, anti-bot and on access scanning

To date i have not experienced any downsides or any issues with the sandblast agent

We now have a complete tool to protect the organization from all existing and modern threats from the cyber criminal world. Thus far there has been zero successful attempts to compromise any data on our domain network.

Checkpoint's Sand Blast Agent is the numb er one endpoint tool in the industry. There is no other tool that can be compared!

Really fantastic product. By evaluating the technical capabilities of the product and focusing on the architecture or EDR, we were able to see how it was able to identify different samples of sophisticated malware created by the cyber team. In addition, we were impressed by the visibility gained and the integration with Checkpoint's entire product.
On the other hand, the support of Checkpoint's own sales team. Thanks to their involvement, we had support from the beginning of the project. For us, this is different from other vendors.

What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with Smart Event and third party systems like SIEM. Integration is not easy. It requires some knowledge or a complete training course in advance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Detection of malware (Ransomware). For many customers, we had to integrate an EDR system for the first time. In many of them we were able to corroborate the pre-existence of malware. With this solution, in just a few hours, we verified the origin of the problems, having a quick overview of it and immediately blocking C&C communications.

It is very important to find a supplier with experience in the deployment of this type of solution. In addition, at the administration level, it is very important to carry out the associated certifications in order to make the most of the product's characteristics.
