What do you like best about the product?
UI experience is the best. Helps me monitor multiple jobs at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there was an easier way of notifying a job failure

Scheduling and monitoring
It helped to analyze as well as supported us to monitor batch jobs and its running proceses
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way it monitors batch jobs in sequence and alerts us of the warning and errors in it so that we can fix them, and it will help the business in continuity
What do you dislike about the product?
All good but only one thing it should notify through mail about the particular job failures so that even if support misses, it will wake you, the stakeholders. That's what I feel

Yet help us to monitor the batch jobs, and as it alerts any violation, it will reduce the overheads, and the business process will be seamless so that it won't affect the productivity

What do you like best about the product?
This is one of best to scheudle different kind of Jobs and Process . Also it can work on any environment You dont need to only setup in UNIX . Its a good tool .
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now thing . I do really like and feel better than CronJobs

It benefits me to create multiple Jobs and processess with specific time and day .It brings me more prouductive when compare to other tools
Control -M is very user friendly and good. We can easily monitor and execute the jobs

It is useful for monitor and executing the jobs and also for job failures.

When Control-M is down we can't use the application other than that there are no dislikes

Control is required ..even control resource having the limitations

BMC Control-M Workload Automation tool has GUI(Graphical User Interface).
With new release web based interface and API capabilities has also increased.

They are licenseing Model is something which is not good for small organization.
They charge per job executed in system and separate cost for there modules
If you breach number of jobs licence then penalty is very high
