Teamcenter As a Engineering Collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
The new modules and the AWC UI. Teamcenter has evolved a lot from its IMAN and TC Rich client days. AWC is the way to go and Siemens is putting a lot of focus on all the right places.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its error messages sometimes, particularly in OOTB workflow handlers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping our clients digitize their product data and lifecycle processes.

Teamcenter helps us collaborate in an early state. For me as an trainer i feel that most of the people are easy to onboard as the system is bulit as other mordern systems.

The requirement module have some things the we feel need to be improved.

It helps us collaborate in earls stages with the information easy acceceble from anywhere.

Easy to find and organace data. Good view over things.

That Active Worksapce is not that good as the RAC.

Currently we are having problems with CATIA5 data migration, but i think the problem is mostly on our side.

The lack of detailed instructions on how to modify and configure Teamcenter.

The costs of the platform do not allow for complete scalability within the company. More intermediate profiles should be created to handle those who do only sporadic access even in writing.
