nx and the evolutoion of the product for the past years

performance can be improved.when it comes to managing heavy cad data seeing performance degradation

mangaging enginnering data and its life cycle. easier to use and user adoption is great

I am daily Teamcenter user, AWC client is improving day by day
What do you like best about the product?
AWC client is more of a web base client, it is improving in terms of functionality and able to see new features gettting created.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AWC client is not in par with other PLM clients which are primarly web based like visual indicators, abilites on the client side validation. Way to go on the client features,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us on BOM Management, Workflow automation, Document Management, Compliance management
Teamcenter provides a common location for all engineering data.
What do you like best about the product?
It allows my company and teams to have a common platform for Engineering data, not just models and drawings
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the audit logs would provide all the workflow info instead of going to the process history

Allowing us to move all of our data into one location

Can be difficult to get used to the user interface and figure out what does what

Lack of usability in some key areas of the software such as the AWC check in and check out requirement per tab.

What do you like best about the product?
Product management is neccessary in todays engineering world. Using Teamcenter as your data management software helps control your product from intitial concept to release.
What do you dislike about the product?
The rich client is very outdated, the new active workspace is better but very monotone, it would be nice to customize it to a colorscheme of the users preference.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coming from a non managed process using user controlled locked folders on a shared drive to Teamcenter is like driving a Model T vs a Tesla.

What do you like best about the product?
Siemens rolls out updates for Teamcenter on a regular basis. It has become easier to install and maintain over the years. Siemens contractors have been very good to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an administrator, even faster responses to IRs and quick issue resolution is desired. The lack of documentation for admins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter integrates all parts of the Part Lifecycle into one software and connects it all together. It's a lot of work on the admin side but it benefits the customer with more streamlined and less manual work.
Team center is easy to use and has many OOTB functionalities, but ....
What do you like best about the product?
I like the OOTB function available and ready to use and the extent of the felixability to customize it at the same time

some promoted features dont work as described one example is where-used

Interface, you can access it through your phone. You can deploy a customized solution to your business needs

Siemens support turnaround time is not satisfactory. Version go out of services fairly quick leading us to a continuous upgrade cycle which hinters the development of new business solutions.
