It is infinitely customizable, and enables anything that a business could want to do.

The UI/UX is challenging for new users to learn.

Teamcenter worth consideration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way Teamcenter allows you to organize your organization. The workflows are easily created and for people to follow. It can be configured to meet out needs. Single signon means out people do not have to keep track of multiple passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have large workflows, the interface can be quite slow in updating and displaying information. The query builder is limited on how complex you can make the search criteria. We have gone to Active Workspace, and it seem that support expertise is lacking. Resolveing issues seems to take longer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple location that produce data. Teamcenter allows us to store all the data in a location where those that need it can access it. We also have mutiple groups that use Teamcenter and this still allow them to be in control of the data. Before out engineering change process was ran predominently by email, but now we use workflows to coordinate that process.
Teamcenter web client (AWC) takes the PLM to the next level!
What do you like best about the product?
It does a decent job in connecting complex segments of PLM, and it works well most of the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AWC is not stable yet, and am afraid that it would take couple of more years to see a robust and stable performance. The customer support is good but the PD turn over time need to be short.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter helps to work more in "object" form, and thus helps to establish the digital thread. The web client (AWC) is easy to implement and intuitive for the new users. The software is strong and robust enough to configure per organization need.

It has lot of solutions and modules in order to meet the best approach to your industry products.

Difficult to find information about performing normal real use case.

Streamlining Project management
What do you like best about the product?
The central platform and real-time data greatly simplify my work, it's all in one location from manufacturing plans.
It is a great idea to monitor progress and spot possible problem eary on with thi degree of visibility . Teamcenter is surprisingly user-friendly and with easy implementation. I don't have to rely on Customer support, though they are very responsive and because of its user-friendly interface to access important data and reports.
Our time has been saves and data silos have been reduced due to seamless integration with current design and engineering tools.
Daily I use it, to manage the full product life cycle.

It address the information sprawl that formerly hampered our process of developing new products. A visibility nightware was previously caused by dispered data across engineering design and manufacturing departments. By serving as a central hub . Team center creates a single source of truth for all product information I can easily monitor progress , spot obstacles early on and make sure everyone has access to the most recent information due to this real-time data visibility.

All time favorite PLM that allows us to design high quality sports products.
What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter offers me and the rest of the product design team an exceptional collaboration space that allows us to work together during the entire design lifecycle. All things about Teamcenter user interface are on point and this makes it so effortless to navigate through it and to use any tool that i want to use. It has a well organized dashboard that allows us to keep all product design details in an orderly way therefore giving everyone an easy time to access them. Teamcenter customer support team has been very actively involved in our experience and they always turn up with solutions every time we ask for help. Teamcenter provide us with well functioning automations which has helped us create automation workflows for most of the repetitive tasks that we have to complete when designing and manufacturing our products. It also has interesting work planning tools that help plan and distribute tasks among ourselves. Teamcenter help us to create work schedules which makes it easy to deliver our design product within the target time. Teamcenter offers very insightful reports which always keep us updated about the state of our designs at each and every design stage. The security functions are really good and they give all our data and information top security protection against all types of cyber attacks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Teamcenter has really proved its worth to us and there has been no difficulties to use it. I have seen nothing to dislike about Teamcenter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Teamcenter to manage our projects when designing and manufacturing sports products for our clients and instant customers. It allows us to work together and in collaboration with all the other teams which makes our operations when designing products to flow smoothly from one stage to the other until we have the final product. With Teamcenter, it has become easy for us to centralize all our project operations in one place which makes it easy to manage all our activities during the entire product design lifecycle.
