Use of Teamcenter as PLM
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to search the parts and related documents, well managed in different nodes.
What do you dislike about the product?
User interface can be more better with more shortcuts available.

Teamcenter is a must in your automotive business
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great solution for product data and Product Lifecycle Management processes. Change Management for example, everything is controlled and stable, processes are just great to do. One of the most important thing is that TC is integrated with CAD, what makes the product a must to use in automotive companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things that make my company doesn't use it as we should use is the cost of Modules: for example cost of mfg module. Even if I feel that it's really important to implement such module, high management see costs, and that makes me sad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Processes must be controlled and stable. And that's what TC does. Another thing, as I mentioned before: CAD Integration, so data are transparent and visible to anyone. During the audits, we can easily show every changes we made on a specific product, including revision history and change management processes in a very easy way.

Perfect data management system where we can secure the data which is related to automotive parts where currently I'm working yes there many competitor are there in market

Currently I'm working with Actual Enovia

What do you like best about the product?
It helps connecting to othe platforms which are build by siemens like unigraphicx and it is easy to use during meeting to get assembly in live meeting with clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
My clients are already using this platforms and I couldn't force my them to come to go to other platform and mostly we use so because it is easy to connect with other person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To get the overall view of process and even for R&D department it is so easy to track and part and what kind of steps it came from or what is the next step it solves all purpose.

A rigid user interface and installations are hard, less support for developer queries, and complexity in structure, less developer-friendly and intense training needed

Solving: process management worries, and simplicity in data maintenance of big firms, from ideation to launch to market withdrawal is a complete package for product management.

What do you like best about the product?
The teamcenter is best designed for lifecycle status of library parts.The locking of the parts by designer and release status are standalone features of Teamcenter.
What do you dislike about the product?
Teamcenter is currently working with NX software seamlessly but we need to make it work with other tools such as catia,solidworks also.The loading of parts can be bit longer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teamcenter helps you providing revision control of Library parts, release status,user who worked,locked the parts.
We can directly launch parts from teamcenter to NX which makes the data accurate.

Data duplication efforts are reduced (EBOM to MBOM); IP information is more readily available to stakeholders in the company other than the design office; collaboration is better achieved through formalized processes.
