with the help of teamcenter we are able to work in an efficient manner and it has reduced the operation time and integration of solid edge and other software has become easy to use

there are no such down side till now to address the problem in the teamcenter

One of the best PLM tool.
What do you like best about the product?
It is one of the best PLM tools out there. I have worked on some other PLM and PDM tools but among them, Teamcenter is much much better. You can manage various file formats from TC.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a good PLM and PDM tool. There are some minor issues I have faced. The main thing I dislike is icon size. most of the icons are very small, and sometimes very hard to notice properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Teamcenter mainly for PLM and PDM. My most of task is related to CAD, Metadata, 3D Modeling and 2D drawing. It's very easy to use and works smoothly. Apart from that, I have also tried some other features. It's really good.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a very good tool. Mainly for Product Lifecycle Management and Product Data Management. I am using it for almost the last 4 years and still using it. I solved many issues that I have faced on other tools.
In a word, you can go for it if your company needs a reliable, userfriendly and easy-to-use data management tool.

maybe is not easy to manage, as an administrator.

Everything in one place. Very quick to find data

Very long time to implementation. All workflow you can't implement in TC.

Design time reduce to 60 percent.

Teamcenter is very useful in data management and controlling the access of data on global level.

Modules of teamcenter like structure manager, change management, Access manager, Query builder helps to automate the process of an organization which reduces the time span and increases the quality of product making the good of existing resouces.

If any issue arises during the process , it takes more time to resolve because so many applications are integrated with Teamcenter, which makes it complex to use.

We can manage data at the central level using Teamcenter. Also manages access to data as per organization which helps to secure the data and work on the data process using the change management module
