Best Cloud Security Platform!
What do you like best about the product?
I've been following Wiz for years and when we finally reached the need of a Cloud Security Platform, Wiz came first to mind. We've compared a few tools before we went ahead, but Wiz got significant advantage against competition.
Onboarding was extremely easy and we were up and running in a matter of days. The thing we love most about Wiz is how simple it actually is and how much information we get out of it. We've been able to identify and resolve critical issues quickly once we connected it to our cloud environments.
Wiz provides immense help with our security audits and helps us automate production deployments of infrastructure without introducing security issues.

Nothing negative to mention here, until now experience was great and everytime we needed support we received the answers we needed.

Review of WIZ
What do you like best about the product?
I love that the product goes deeper into insights, our company used Prisma Cloud before switching to WIZ and the level of detail we got out of WIZ verse Prisma was significantly greater. We also can set policies we follow, along with custom compliance policies. Also, the ability to be able to deploy to all our environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about WIZ is the fact that you can’t dismiss an alert if it is a false positive, you can only ignore it. I also don’t like they keep building out these cool products and putting them in preview mode for everyone then come back and charge an arm and a leg for it. Our company sets budgets for the year so having to try and justify why we need to add an additional license has made us say no to certain parts of their new licensing model.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WIZ has helped us address security vulnerabilities, enhance our data management, and provide seamless integration with all our applications. It has benefited myself in being about to safeguard our data and provide the ability to get teams who were not looking at their cloud vulnerabilities to be more on top of making sure their vulnerabilities are remediated correctly.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to create custom rules in Rego without upgrading the license is a pain

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing a cloud environment which is big enough for a security team to struggle to keep an eye on is hard. Wiz helps solve that for us by giving us a clear single pane of glass view of our entire cloud infrastructure, with a hassle-free setup. Out of the box, there are enough rules to get started with, and they make a difference in how confident we are in our cloud security posture. As well as security, Wiz also has a number of rules focussed just on 'best practices' which have both taught us a few new tricks and alerted us to some anti-patterns in our IaC.

What do you like best about the product?
Our infrastructure is complex and constantly changing, deployed across all three major clouds. With Wiz, we gain the observability we always desired, as well as the expert knowledge needed to maintain the level of security our customers and partners expect.
Wiz's UI is easy to use and intuitive, it allows our security teams and DevOps to quickly identify, prioritize, vet, and remediate the vulnerabilities that actually matter. The fact that Wiz is constantly innovating and adding features keeps in the forefront of Cloud Security Platforms.

What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have any major conerns. Automation within the tool could probably be somewhat improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz allows us to keep our complex, constantly mutating cloud environments highly secure. There is no way we could have done it manually.
Efficient and effective cloud security tool.
What do you like best about the product?
The all around ease of use for Wiz has stood out since day one. From deployment to configuration of cloud setting to now the upgrading of those setting. Wiz has continued to shine and impress. I'm tasked with getting users onboarded and acclimated to Wiz, and this has been a breeze. The logical point and click nature of Wiz has made for a seamless transition from other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike, but I can point to the lack of reporting. Analyzing the number of remediated alerts month to month for executive summaries is a very manual task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz solves more than one problem. The overall cloud health of the organization has taken a step up because of Wiz.

At the moment only export (like in excel) are not at level. need to improve on this because sharing is essential and a lot of times some export is needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
have a cleare view on the cloud security issue and security k8 clusters

What do you like best about the product?
We had a very smooth experience and easy implementation process, starting from the initial contact up, through understanding our needs, up to configuring the services to adress exactly the specific needs that we had. It integrated flawlessly with our tech stack. We use the services every day. Fully recommend!

- Detecting vulnerabilities in docker images. This is a prerequisite to establishing vulnerability management of deployments and platform
- Detecting attack vectors on infrastructure. Daily scan allows us to fix possible misconfigurations in infrastructure
- Compliance posture on infrastructure - help us to be compliant with ISO and SOC2
- SBOM - gives us insight on legal issues with licenses of software libraries we use to prevent possible lawsuits
- Scanning our code and finding vulnerabilities in components we use. Software Component Analysis - which is prerequisite for implementing Secure Software Supply Chain - slsa.dev
- Finding hardcoded secrets in our code

As a Cloud native organisation, a holistic CNAPP platform was vital for us.
Wiz was extremely easy to set up for 100% coverage across AWS, GCP and Azure. We managed to operationalise and democrocatise security across 100+ development teams within a few months.
New (and existing additional) features such as the run-time sensor, Wiz Code and Wiz Defend are compelling. All features and integrations within Wiz work seamlessly without effort.
The user interface is very intuative whereby its easy to navigate the platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) part of the platform could be improved from a coverage perspective by adding a Data Catalog. Overall the DSPM offering is good (due to the contextual risk / attack path analysis) but it is below the capability of pure play DSPM vendors.
Reachability analysis could potentially be improved.
Root cause analysis dashboards would be very helpful from a vulnerability management perspective rather than delving into reporting.

Easily able to focus on pressing Cloud security risks due to attack path analysis.

What do you like best about the product?
Using Wiz you can focus on the most important vulnerabilities, those that are exposed to Internet and have an exploit in the wild. And you can do that with only few clicks using Graph Explorer.

What do you dislike about the product?
You can't see the firewall rules defined in your Cloud applied on the Graph Explorer. You only see if the network routing is possible. And I have to check if the WAF's policies is now visible. When you have a vulnerability in a Pod and if the Pod is exposed to Interneet through a Load Balancer, the Dynamic Scanner shloud be able to check if that vulnerability is mitigated by a WAF policy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wiz is Multi-Cloud. We have many Clouds as GCP, AWS, Azure and OCI, and with one only product you can see your Securiry Posture in all them Clouds. And is Easy, the deployment, the user interface, all it's easy! You can focus to solve the security problems, you don't waste your time with dealing with many tools to do the same work.
