Great Antivirus
What do you like best about the product?
The software does not slow down your computer while protecting it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price for the software compared to others is expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Great next-gen antivirus product with an easy to use console
What do you like best about the product?
Cylance is an easy to configure antivirus product with a great console. The reporting is great and the threat reports are incredibly thorough. The agent is also very reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think the MacOS client is as reliable as the Windows client. We had numerous issues after upgrading to Mojave with Cylance. The issue was fixed with an agent update but that took over a month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cylance provides another layer of defense for our endpoints. We have centralized reporting and oversight with Cylance. We have also been able to tweak the security settings based on departments and users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Cylance is a great product and definitely worth the money. You should still pair it with other security solutions (application whitelisting, limiting administrative rights etc).
Excellent Protection
What do you like best about the product?
I like how this software keeps our computers protected. We have had several incidents where we needed this to dig into what was happening on our computers. This helped us drill down and find what was happening.
What do you dislike about the product?
We dont have much control as users but we leave that to our IT personnel. Our than that not much to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to have peace of mind that our computers are protected and that if there is something that gets through we can find out what happened. One of the main benefits in this product is how light it is. This does not make our machines run slow like other products.
Make your PCs as secure as possible
What do you like best about the product?
CylanceOPTICS has a lot of different things going for it, but two of the best features are the System Isolation , and Threat Intelligence. There isn't anything else on the market that compares to what CylanceOPTICS does specifically with these features

Only wish this product was a little less money

What do you like best about the product?
I love the peace of mind that Cylance brings. Cylance Protect is a great product but it lacked some tools for digging in to what was happening. I love how easy Optics makes it to look into what happened on a device. And then how easy it is to make changes. We also love the support we have gotten through Cylance. This is one of the few companies who will sit down with you and go over to try and help you improve your processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our main issue with Cylance right now is they are all over the place. You have a different portal for every product that you use. That can be time consuming and frustrating to keep up with. That said they are working towards bringing all those pieces together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to focus on other areas of the IT industry by not having to worry as much about AV. The benefits of cylance over about every other AV are enormous. With cylance we know we are getting solid protection against threats. Not only that but we are getting a product that doesnt cripple the system it is running on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are using Protect you want to add Optics. This product is a great addition to Protect.
Best Antivirus I Have Used
What do you like best about the product?
After we started to use this product we have had zero PCs infected by viruses that were protected by Cylance. Their dashboard makes it easy to see which of our clients have had viruses blocked and what they were.
What do you dislike about the product?
This product can be super pricey but I still love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s our antivirus for over 200,000 PCs
Cylance is a platform that offers a functional antivirus with good results.
What do you like best about the product?
It offers efficient protection in a general way, acts quickly against malware, saves time because its ability to detect viruses, quarantine is excellent, delete or disinfect and recover the infected file, detecting malware faster than other antivirus , I like it because this protection system is complete what makes your work and our preference more effective.

It is a tool that has proven its effectiveness since we started using it, which made us opt for Cylance before any other protection system, at that time we were infected with various viruses which caused serious problems with the loss of files and the failure of the system. system in computers. They recommended cylance and we decided to buy the product, it was a great decision because it solved that problem and until now continues to offer us protection.

Decent product with flaws
What do you like best about the product?
The Cylance Protect is a solid product, stands up next to industry leaders. Easy to deploy across entire network and simple to use. Rules were easy to create and roll out also. This is designed to pair with it and on workstations we have had little or no problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
If deployed on a file server, real time scanning locks up files you are trying to open. Even if you make a rule to just watch and not run live it impacts files randomly. support was of no help, we just killed the service and files opened immediately. We used to use McAfee that included HIPS but this is not available with Cylance so you need to find an additional solution for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Replaced a different AV product. Cost savings was biggest benefit.

What do you like best about the product?
Smart detection, efficient, low-weight client.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. It really has exceeded all expectations.

Pre-definition early discovery of threats.

Buy OPTICS so you can dive deep into what a threat or false positive is really about.
Cylance Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
From the start, all you do is download, install, and enter in a code. At that point you are protected. This is very easy to install and view in the admin portal.
What do you dislike about the product?
We might have reached our capacity, but we keep getting users that need to re-enter the code. Will be contacting Cylance to get this resolved.
