Great Admin Tooling
What do you like best about the product?
Its very intuitive, I got used to it withing 3 days of learning and was effectively able to develop after that. The official documentation also helps a lot.
It is very easy to setup an application and give out permissions and access control to whomever needs it. Git integration is a big plus for me.
Alongside the official docs, customer support is very helpful, we had multiple calls and chats with them, and we have a dedicated slack channel with the support people for any problems we encounter.

What do you dislike about the product?
The superblocks agent the apps are running on sometimes bugs out, and then the app stops working, but this happens really rarely.
Also, some features like if/else blocks weren't adopted when I was using Superblocks, but I think they're coming in the future.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use Superblocks to build frontends for admins/moderators of our data, saving time on building complex UI's just for them, and enabling us to focus more on the backend side. Also, any quick demo's I don't want to showcase through Postman, I spin up a Superblocks app and voila!

Superblocks is a powerful application building tool that's easy to learn!
What do you like best about the product?
Prior to Superblocks, we had multiple different teams working on their own DIY frameworks to solve different internal tooling needs. We eventually hit a point where the maintenance and upgrading of SDKs and frameworks, onboarding of new developers, and other ci / cd processes became a huge drag on actually delivering solutions. Superblocks has allowed us to offload that drag and get back to building tooling that solves needs and improves efficiencies in our organization. It’s also enabled us to shift most of our internal tooling development to junior engineers as they can learn the tool extremely quickly, and most of the time have something deployed by end of day!
Additionally, Superblocks has allowed us to build tooling in a more interactive way. Since it’s extremely quick to drag and drop components and hook up APIs and database connections, we can start prototyping solutions for teams in meetings while they give direct feedback. This allows us to greatly reduce back-and-forth as we try to build custom workflows and processes for different teams in our organization.
We have also started making a lot of use of their workflow builder. It’s much easier to build out ETLs and data sync processes when you don’t have to worry about spinning up a service, infrastructure to support it, and all the devops concerns when you are just trying to get data in the right place.
Overall, Superblocks has been a great platform for us to build out applications, ETLs and syncs. It allows us to build out internal tooling solutions 2-3x faster, with much less overhead. Throughout this process, the Superblocks team has been incredibly helpful. We have been able to give direct feedback on their roadmap and get help with implementation and report bugs directly in Slack to them. It’s been a great experience so far, and I look forward to a lot of the roadmap items they are delivering this year!

What do you dislike about the product?
Everything currently missing in Superblocks is on their roadmap, but the main things I’m looking forward to are
- Solution for global navigation to give end users a better interface to see applications available and switch between them
- Multi page applications
- More administrative features around workflows and scheduling jobs
- Layouts to allow grid-based reactive UIs

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superblocks has allowed us to shift internal tooling to more junior engineers, and given us a platform to consolidate fragmented DIY frameworks into a common solution.
Customized components with great SQL environment and workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Easy-to-use but can be customized a lot with code both in back-end and front-end.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited component features, like customizing a table and many problems with the date picker. Python needs to be improved a lotby adding libraries and a nicer environment with code autocompletion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fantastic engineers team always willing to help. The flexibility to write SQL queries and Python is a great foundation to start from. However, Python does not have that many features and packages. By giving the option to the user to customize more the components and write python code for machine learning, Superblocks could compete other platforms which allow the users to fully customize their applications.
Brilliant for internal apps and business process automation
What do you like best about the product?
The main problem with low code tools is that at some point you hit the "computer says no" wall, where the compromises made by the designers of your tools become hard constraints on your ability to implement what you need to. Having been an extensive user of Superblocks for the last 12 months I still haven't hit this wall.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't a reasonable thing to ask for, but some level of responsiveness from SB apps and/or a mobile app version of the tool so you can access your tooling on the go would be perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a fairly technical product and operations team, and for them to be able to make applications for their own internal workflows without distracting the engineering team has been invaluable.
The best no-code tool I've found
What do you like best about the product?
Superblocks has extensive video content to learn their no-code system. I was able to connect my data sources and build my first dashboard in a single day. As a non-technical user I was able to get pretty far on my own. The dashboards we've created in Superblocks are essential to our day-to-day operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of capabilities of Superblocks that are beyond my tech skillset and I am searching for the right data engineering resources to take full advantage of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have disparate data sources that need to be in one place. We've connected our Snowflake, ZenDesk, and proprietary sources into a single dashboard. It eliminates constant app-switching for our data consumers.
Super helpful software
What do you like best about the product?
I love the amount of things you can build and how easy it is. Their support is awesome and always quick to get back to you.
What do you dislike about the product?
The billing/breakdown for users is a bit confuing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superblocks has made it so anyone can do the tasks that our developers needed to do. We have also been able to easily create reports to help make business decisions.
Awesome tool
What do you like best about the product?
There are many great things about Superblocks, more specifically:
1- As a non technical user, I'm still able to create reports and work well
2- The UI is quite simple
3- Support is always ready to help and offer great solutions

What do you dislike about the product?
While I'm enjoying using Superblocks, some things that I don't enjoy:
1- I feel limited with what I can achieve due to my non-technical background
2- I couldn't find a way to reference code across apps, which would make it so much easier to use

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superblocks has made it very easy to create multiple applications and reports that help us find information we need easily, and visualize data without the need to query DBs nor use other more complicated tools.
Superblocks reduces the time required to build admin tools from weeks to hours
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Superblocks is its ability to drastically reduce the development time for admin tools. Previously, creating UIs, handling web server deployments, and navigating through CORS and OAuth issues could extend development into weeks. With Superblocks, it's reduced to mere hours or a few days at most.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are occasional server errors and minor UI quirks. Some aspects of user/permission management could be more intuitive. These are minor inconveniences though.. overall the platform is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building admin tools, deploying them to servers, handling user management permissions. It has allowed us to quickly automate previously manual tasks without making a. large time investment.
Easy to scale our SQL needs securely
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility - I can make anything and everything look and work exactly how I need it to.
Support - On the ball, very helpful.
Support - On the ball, very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not an SQL expert, or a web designer. So for me there was a little bit of a learning curve. But it was not hard to figure out once I dug in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Superblocks gives our staff the ability to perform SQL queries that have been pre built for them. The users can know nothing about SQL and still get the data they need from the peramaters they provide.
Super speed for MVPs
What do you like best about the product?
Why lost in translation writing code just to try a new feature or make a small MVP? I found in Superblocks an amazing tool to put in real what happend in my mind. Easy, toons of tools and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was thinking something about the learning curve, but remember when tried other no code tools..no dislikes for Superblocks at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed, to try ASAP before MVPs
