Pluralsight courses quality and content is for sure great, but we need quicker updates...
What do you like best about the product?
The presenters are all best in market and the content is very well organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The speed of getting videos for the latest updates in technology
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I visit to get trained on technologies like MS Azure and Angular. As we use them in our development day to day these trainings helps me a lot in following best practices and implement the tasks with ease.

I love the way technologies are taught
What do you like best about the product?
I get to learn any technology of my interest in very less time. I like the offline player which helps me download courses to my laptop and complete them whenever I want. The course progress in offline player is in sync with the course progress in the website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few captions in few videos are out of sync with the audio and few words are misspelled. There is no way to click the URLs shown in the videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pluralsight has tons of short and valuable courses which helped me learn technologies faster. The offline player is one of the best features which helps people to download their favorite courses and watch them on their own time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pluralsight is definitely one of the best online course providers.
Wide range of interest area

The best way to keep up with rapidly changing technology landscape
What do you like best about the product?
I love that anytime I want to learn more about a new technology or process, Pluralsight already has it in their vast catalog.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dark theme is sometimes difficult to use. Could have better reporting options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've purchased licenses for my entire team so that we are able to keep up with the constant changes in the technology landscape. Originally it was the developers, but Pluralisght has expanded to include information that is useful for all IT service professionals, including network admins, systems admins, systems analysts, and project managers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The company is constantly investing in itself and will be around for a long time. There is always new content coming out and they are working on ways to make it even easier to discover.
Good depth of knowledge and presentation
What do you like best about the product?
Like the depth of knowledge in my interested topics.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major issues encountered. If you need to stop the course and resume later, it seems to resume on the summary of the chapter you just completed - not a big deal
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed some understanding of Maven, was able to understand the build process of our existing base and implement a new Maven project. Also needed to understand queue implementation using Hazelcast. Left with a better understanding of Hazelcast and it's distributed data implementation.
Awesome experience
What do you like best about the product?
The content available on pluralsight and the way every session is held.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Everything about pluralsight is very good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Daily business problems
Supplemental job training that's also great for college students
What do you like best about the product?
I love to look through all the relevant courses for a skill by reviewing the detailed table of contents for each course. This helps me determine which specific modules of a course I want to listen to. I may listen to an entire course or just the portions I need help on. It's often good to hear two different instructors present the same concept to ensure I understand it thoroughly.
Although this site is promoted to working adults to fill skill gaps (or to build new career skills), I have also found it quite helpful as a college course supplement. I'm working on my second bachelor's degree, and the computer science courses are all offered online. This is more challenging than traditional classroom teaching because students must teach much of the material to themselves using the textbooks and material provided by the instructor. I had envisioned that the instructors would record their lectures (similar to MIT Courseware), but in the online program at my university, most instructors provide, little or no video instruction. Since it can be difficult to learn new technical material solely from a textbook, it is incredibly helpful to look up the concepts on Pluralsight and watch the relevant modules/courses to reinforce my understanding. Specifically, it helps to see challenge exercises completed in real time...especially when a step in the textbook is unclear.

What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the technical courses (e.g., programming languages) go through several examples that are not created from scratch. There are many times when it would be helpful to code alongside the instructor. If the instructor has a few "existing" files they will be modifying, all the files should be made available for download to encourage interactive learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been reviewing courses in HTML, CSS, and Visual Basic. I'm an instructional designer, and the main authoring tool our department uses for eLearning was developed in-house. This tool is adequate to create "slides" but the formatting is limited. Since the developers provide the option to customize each slide using HTML and CSS, I have watched courses on these topics on Pluralsight and now use the coding option to wield greater control over the look and feel of my eLearning content! Peers often look at my slides and say, "I didn't think our system could do that!" Then I can show them how to accomplish it by customizing their code. Also, sometimes the authoring tool has a glitch when the user attempts to apply multiple types of formatting to a selection (e.g., Heading 1, with some words in bold, some in italics, and others in a different font). I can easily fix these issues with surgical precision within the code/mark-up window instead of having to wait and request for a developer to fix things on their end (or worse, just giving up and accepting a default design that is less engaging).
The main benefits are affordability and well-designed instructional courses. It can be hit-or-miss (mostly the latter) when searching for a quality video on a technical topic on YouTube. Unfortunately, I have trouble understanding non-English accents, and many good videos that are on YouTube are presented by instructors who learned English as a second language. I have to keep rewinding some sections and attempting to read the horrible captions provided, and often I give up and look for another video. But I never struggle to understand the recorded instructors on Pluralsight, who all seem to be native speakers (at least the ones I've seen so far)...and the transcriptions are perfect, so even if there is a new term I'd like to see in writing, I'm confident I can find it in the transcription!
Although there s value in higher education (discussion forums, testing, etc.), I think video learning is more cost effective than university courses, and I can watch the videos multiple times if needed at any time of the day or night. Even if an instructor presents material in a way that doesn't connect with me, I can usually find another instructor who presents in a manner that's better suited to my learning styles and preferences.

Pluralsight: The best way to improve your developer skill set.
What do you like best about the product?
Consistent high quality teachers. Plethora of courses. Beginner to Advanced courses offered. Example files available for download. Course outline, speed of play option, bookmarks, ability to download and view offline, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The occasional exercise files that don't work as intended. It would be helpful to almost always include at least two demos for each course (this concept applies to beginner to advanced training courses): A "Hello World" and "Real World" demos. The "Real World" demo consist of a utility and/or application that you can easily envision being tasked with at a company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning new software development patterns, languages, frameworks, etc. that pertain to current, past or future work projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it! I've taken numerous courses ranging from live to reading books, etc. Pluralsight's format and quality of teachers propels you into a vast playground of learning snippets that can truly help your career.

What do you dislike about the product?
Too many courses on same topic makes it confusing for user to pick up right course. old courses should be removed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Great platform for learning/enhancing technical skills
What do you like best about the product?
There are huge selection of courses and the courses are updated regularly to cope with the continuously changing tech industry. The courses are very detailed and the mentors try hard to make even the difficult topics simple to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I don't find courses that I want to learn for my level. And some of the courses have highly specific content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in a IT company that works in healthcare domain , I constantly need to update myself for the new tech trends and see if we need to start using them to improve performance. I rely on plural sight courses to start learning the new tech trends.
