Easily digestible information and simple to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Pluralsight is the ease of navigation. I didn't have to learn how to use the site. It was obvious how to find topics that interested me and build channels. The Role IQ feature is awesome. Can't wait for it to be improved.
What do you dislike about the product?
As mentioned above, the Role IQ feature needs some work. After taking a skill assessment test, I'd like to immediately be able to take a customized course or path that directly corresponds to the areas I need to improve in. Some areas have channels, but some don't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before moving to a new role, I used Pluralsight to assess my current skill level. Once I got my report back, I took courses to improve my baseline. When I finally transitioned, I was able to hit the ground running.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compared to other eLearning sites, Pluralsight is miles ahead. Would definitely recommend trying it out.
Great tool with lots of resources on many different topics
What do you like best about the product?
I like the content variety available on the site for learning and skill development. There's courses from everything including Microsoft Server and SQL to technologies like Citrix and the deployment practices to be successful there. Right now I'm particularly happy with the Citrix deployment courses - there's tons of great content and the instructors who record it are passionate and interesting. Pluralsight courses, in my experience, are not those boring monotone recordings. They actually have people who care and are genuinely interested in what they're teaching. That makes a world of difference.
The other thing I greatly enjoy about this company and product is that they are constantly evolving and adding content. I originally became a Pluralsight customer years back as an individual subscriber. I came back last year with my company when they signed up, and wow. The amount of content that they added since was just amazing. Pluralsight continues to expand, grow and acquire new talent and resources and you can definitely tell that they are committed to making this a great resource.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there would be more courses for skill development on SQL database management. This is a very specific request (things like common maintenance and best practice type of content) so it's not much a "dislike" as it is a wish list for future content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use it to continue to gain skills on the technologies we use in production with our company. We have a Citrix deployment and these courses are a great help to get everyone up to speed with what capabilities we have with using Citrix and what more we may be able to gain from it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try them out - there's a wealth of content on there currently and they truly are dedicated to growing their content library.
Expert Level Achieved
What do you like best about the product?
I loved that I was able to access all of the different topics on the A+ and Network+ certifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was not too much I disliked. The lessons seeemed to sometimes go on and drag but that is because some information is more dense than others
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am taking my A+ and Network+ certifications. I have realized the benefits that this site gives you are tremendous.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I believe it is a great tool to learn more about the Computer industry.
IT apprentice on Pluralsight
What do you like best about the product?
The courses are taught in a friendly manner by people that really know their stuff. I started in IT 14 months ago and have learned SO much!! I did CompTIA A+ primarily on Pluralsight and passed within my first year because there is so much material, including screenshots, in-app video capture and so on.
A lot of the most popular industry exams have structured / specially created learning paths to get you to the standard you need and there's always additional, recommended material.
With the CompTIA exams, that I know first hand, there are links to Kaplan for additional practice exams which then provide additional reading.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I think the experts forget what it's really like to know "nothing" and pitch the material to someone who already does the job on a daily basis but doesn't know it all yet. This means that some of the courses won't be useful across the board. A lot of the Windows admin courses, for example, assume that the user will understand a great deal of terminology and know how / be able to set up a virtualised lab environment
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So many of my colleagues are using Azure more and more and rely on Pluralsight a lot. Individually people pursue their own interests I suppose. I'm already hard at work on the Network+ learning path.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's a whole host of people using Pluralsight and if you're stuck, they will respond to questions and help you achieve your aims. Particularly remember this when you're tackling a subject area that you're not familiar with.

Great Online Learning
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the Microsoft Training Courses. They get the right experts to present the material. The presenters are engaging and draw you into the course material. They also present things in ways to aid retention of the material.
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked Pluralsite training when I first became a member with my previous employer. Their content was dry and could not stay awake during those early sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has given me a better understanding of many Microsoft Products and has aided in better retention of information. Everything that I have learned from Pluralsite is put to everyday work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Pluralsite for all of your Microsoft Training needs.

Must have for any IT professional!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can not only watch the videos on my computers, but can also use the app on my phone as well! I can get my content wherever and whenever I need it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Though you will find most of what you are looking for it does, understandably, take some time for newer technologies to find their way to the site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been asked to train two hours a week to help further our technical skills. Pluralsight is a great tool to help us accomplish this task! We have used some of the courses to help us setup specific tools in our environment.
