Pluralsight is my technology learning platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like the breadth of topics that I can dive into and start learning about. I like that I can follow along with an instructor easily.
I like that I may contact mentors directly using the platform. I also like that I can follow instructors that I like and see what other courses that the instructors have published to Pluralsight.
The availability of the platform is great for the most part. Pluralsight allows me to learn anywhere on my own terms as long as I have an internet connection or that I have downloaded a course in offline storage.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some technologies do not have any courses yet. Sometimes, the course is not thorough enough with the technology. Sometimes, there are not enough courses on a particular technology but rather just a simple tour or walk-through of a particular technology.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure thing are implemented the right way. I am able to learn more about other technologies and then apply what I have learned.
It's great when I realize from a Pluralsight course that one particular implementation of something has a flaw in it and knowing what I have learned from the course I can correct that flaw. It also a benefit to use Pluralsight courses as a way to evaluate a particular technology and whether it would solve any business problems. I am able to do that by gathering information from Pluralsight courses as I weigh my decision on whether it solves a problem or not.

Cant' really think of anything to dislike right now.

I started my job with little knowledge of the stack my company was using. luckily Pluralsight had all the right videos to get me on track.

The number of training courses out on the site. So many topics to choose from.

What do you like best about the product?
The thing that I like the most about Pluralsight is that all the Instructors are extremely qualified and experience. The information learned is invaluable for the price they charge. the CISSP course is by far the best of them all.

I would like to see more interactive exercises as part of the training courses

What do you like best about the product?
Pluralsight has a great catalog of content which is always growing. The instructors are top notch and I've yet to find a subject not covered by at least a handful of course options
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike about Pluralsight. I guess if I had to pick something it might be that it doesn't just siphon all the information directly into my head once I start the class?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to quickly investigate new technology without having to get a PO, get approvals and then get 3 days into a traditional course before realizing this tech just won't serve our needs the way we thought it would. We can easily get some training in things and then with the knowledge gained make a better informed choice/path forward
Lots of easy to understand and follow videos that teach you how to use so many skills.
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of videos available to learn programming are vast and varied. The creators can also include study or work materials to help us follow along with them. I've learned a lot about the computer science industry and programming languages that I would not be able to get out of day-to-day work and activities. I also enjoy how welcoming and helpful the community is when problems arise.
What do you dislike about the product?
Instructor videos are not always up-to-date and sometimes I have to find solutions through the comments section. As a user, I want to have a fluid experience and not have to deal with trying to dig deep into finding a solution to a tutorial video. The purpose of the tutorial video should be to have everything ready for you to use already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ASP.NET, Unity, C#, etc.

There is a lot of content, but make sure the one you're using is updated and still supported by the creator.

mobile app needs the ability to watch offline

building a restful applications. pluralsight gives me a good foundations to build great scalable applications

improve offline viewing capabilities. It is very hard to view videos offline. i think the downloading function is a little buggy

The variety of options for training modules.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interactive code school was removed, and that was probably the best feature and the one I liked the most.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training our staff to meet the company's IT demands. We have been able to decrease training in class room settings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would have told you to absolutely do Pluralsight for the code school alone! Now, with that stripped out, and the training moved from interactive, to videos, the coding training is not as great. However, there is still a wealth of knowledge to be gained from the sight, on about every IT related topic you are searching for!
