Exceptional value and impeccable service
What do you like best about the product?
Scytale is an excellent option for any SaaS business that's looking to sort out their ISO compliance at a reasonable price.
Laura and the team were amazing from day one — they clearly explained the process, laid out expectations, answered all of our questions, and smoothly guided us through everything, in what could otherwise have been a fairly daunting process. Provided that your organisation is willing to dedicate resources to the process, put in the work, and openly collaborate with the Scytale team — you can definitely expect it to be quite a smooth process.
Their platform was modern, and had excellent integrations with our internal tech-stack, and even supported some edge cases that, for example, competitors like Vanta (which cost muc more) didn't. Setting up the integrations took less than a day for us to do. Their support staff were also extremely accommodating and helpful in answering our questions.
Ultimately, we were able to get our ISO certification on-time (barring one minor delay, which wasn't anyone's fault — and was addressed to our satisfaction by Laura and the team) and on-budget.
Finally, huge kudos to Laura, Liam and the rest of the Scytale team for everything.

What do you dislike about the product?
Overall — we loved Scytale! However, do keep in mind that compliance is a resource intensive process for any org (regardless of whether Scytale or any other consultancy is there). HOWEVER, if you are willing to put in the effort, and engage with Scytale's team (who are there to help you out), you will have a much easier time.
Some improvement areas:
There's a bit of iffy UX at certain places in the Scytale platform — but nothing major (besides, what platform doesn't have these). I'm confident that the platform will get even better in the future — I could see that improvements were already being made to various aspects during our ISO process.
Also, we did use Scytale for pentesting, and the timelines/ communication their pentesting division was a bit slow at times — but, our collaboration with the ISO / compliance division was 100% solid and recommended without any hesitation.

Rapid Compliance with Scytale robust automation platform and Expert Guidance

Our experience with Scytale has been exceptional. Guided by their expert, Laura Quan, we successfully achieved ISO 27001 certification and are now progressing towards SOC 2 compliance. What do you like best about the product?
Scytale was instrumental in helping our SaaS company achieve ISO 27001 certification in just 3 months while other consultants told us it took 6 months or even 1 year! From the outset, their consultant was professional and proactive, guiding us through every step of the process with clear expertise. Their online platform streamlined everything, making it easy to manage documentation and track progress. We highly recommend Scytale to any organization seeking a smooth and efficient path to ISO 27001 certification.

Also already very good, we would like even more integrations with other solutions to automate more the collection of evidence.

Scytale adds the personal, human, touch on top of the commdoty automations. They help you throught the gates instead of leaving you to figure it out on your own (or hire another person just to operate it). They give you a proffssional to work with you every step of the way. I've tried others, they are not nearly like Scytale.

Compliance is not easy. No shortcuts. They can't change that, it's on purpose. But they are the best help you can get to succeed in it.

Scytale are my one-stop-shop for SOC2 compliance. They walked us through every step of the way to become compliant and pass and audity. Hours of work with real proffessionals.
Well organized approach to set up an ISMS framework.
What do you like best about the product?
Scytale has developed a system that helps organize the numerous controls and policies required to implement most popular ISMS frameworks. Its interface simplifies much of the work involved in managing and prioritizing tasks. In addition to streamlining paperwork, the integrations and automated evidence-gathering tools help bridge the gap between policies and real-world implementation. Finally, the expert advice has been invaluable in prioritizing tasks and maintaining progress. Overall, my experience with Scytale has been very positive so far.

Some of the integrations have been a little problematic, but the Scytale team have dealt with all the issues in a timely and friendly way.

We are working with Mischa as our dedicated CSM and he walk us though everything and and get us all of the answers we need to cet the complience and not get lost in it :) He his hardworking, get things done and straight to the point of us getting certified

What do you dislike about the product?
* The plafrom itself is not there yet, integrations are missing and sporadically fails, it still automate parts of the work but wev'e made a lot of work connecting everything into the plafrom we expected more.
* We agreed on very demanding timeline it got delayed.
* Policies are very broad and we needed to make adjustments to almost every policy.
* Without PS its really hard to get along.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been working with Scytale for the past six months to get Teamup Calendar ready for ISO 27001 certification.
We are most impressed with Mischa's dedication to making the process smooth and efficient for us. He guided us through the whole process step by step and shared his know-how on the ISO 27001 framework and how to implement it best in our context. It was a great learning experience for us and helped us achieve compliance efficiently. The Scytale software supports us in maintaining compliance in the future.

The software is a work in progress, and we ran into a few issues. It was nice to see that the team was eager to get our feedback and quickly implemented improvements.
