Works well - no downtime

We depend on the SMS service running all the time 24/7. Which it does

What do you like best about the product?
Nexmo is the only platform where you get socket endpoint for voice programming. their services and support were too quick and noticeable. with reach documentation for each service.
What do you dislike about the product?
As nexmo provides exactly what we are looking for we do not have anything to dislike yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to manage voice call from desktop with own transcription process and we succeed with next voice programming.
5+ years and never an issue
What do you like best about the product?
The ease and simplicity of integration. We use Nexmo serverside and bridge in from various custom software builds. It takes literally minutes to bridge your code to Nexmo for SMS for reliable applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could still be better. It's difficult to manage multiple client accounts without creating new accounts for each one of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nexmo has made it simple to interact with SMS to create 2 step authentications, interactive AI text agents, members text clubs, and more in minutes. The time saved alone has been worth it. We have a project we just started to design which will be the first to use voice services. I am looking forward to using nexmo for this as well.
Value for money service
What do you like best about the product?
Rates were pretty cheap compared to other providers we've tried. Also, user-friendly dashboards and customizable APIs are really helpful. Response time for messages was good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Did not supports two-factor authentication message support. This was the sole reason I signed up for nexmo and it was the only service I was denied. Misfortunate maybe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We signed up nexmo for receiving two-factor authentication messages from online merchants. We couldn't make any benefits since the service we're looking for is not provided.

Value for money. And I've done all kinds of research in this field.

Nice text feature with cheapest rate. Customer support is very fast and they solve the problem very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should support custom params so we can send the text using custom params.

Nexmo for SMS communication with parents
What do you like best about the product?
Easier to use APIs with Shortnames. Transaction logs to track the success rate and failure rates. Data export available for all the delivered messages and transaction logs. Intuitive interface and comprehensive documentation in multiple languages. Comprehensive code samples are available in multiple languages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some dashboards and reports could be improved. Additional dashboards should be included for additional information like distribution of message by telco vendors, invalid numbers, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made the work of implementing SMS notifications within our applications easier. Also, the trial of new ways of communication with customers is possible within a very low cost of implementation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a look for technical demo and testing. You should be able to get it up and test it within a couple of hours.

The API is so simple that you could easily get started with just a few lines of code.

Sometimes the support can be a bit messy with multiple threads attached from other users.

Mostly using Nexmo for sending SMS at scale and 2FA.

I like that I can get right in and adjust whatever settings i need to, and the dashboard is easy to navigate.

The sales team and support team don’t seem to always be on the same page.
I had open/turned on every port per the instructions and got hacked immediately and hackers used all the funds I put in the account. I closed it down to only the necessary ports and then changed the Key I was using and then I was good

I needed a cheap VoIP solution for testing out AV equipment and this worked great.

I tried to many services and Nexmo is the best, for price and stability

I like everything, I've never had problems with Nexmo

There is absolutely nothing to dislike with the API or offerings

We use extensively for all notifications within our ERP solution. It's used for maintenance alerts, customer pickups, omni channel notifications. Used everywhere where it makes sense to send a text message
