What do you like best about the product?
Their AV streaming technology is outstanding. Nexmo AV SDK is simple to use and you can make you platform up and running within hours
What do you dislike about the product?
Support can be a little better. Sometimes the reply is little vague
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We provide an online learning platform which provides a collaborative white board. We used Nexmo's AV soluttion to share the participants video

What do you like best about the product?
Easy integration. The web API is quite simple so I don't have difficulty integrating the verify to my app.
What do you dislike about the product?
Intermittent verification SMS. Sometimes it takes so long to receive, sometimes it simply never arrived.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Verifying the user's phone numbers. It's cost effective and quicker than implementing in-house phone number verification.

Good service SDK has stability issues

What do you like best about the product?
The service itself is good and the apis versatile.
What do you dislike about the product?
Android the SDK crashes very often when cleaning up sessions. This is really a show stopper for us. More insight to the reasons for the crash would be nice. Currently the SDK is a native module, which does not throw any Java exception when crashing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are providing on-demand video interpretation, which solves the problem that the interpreters would otherwise need to travel to the customer. That would be waste of time and money.

What do you like best about the product?
Nexmo shows detailed call statistics for every call which are easy to access and very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many things can cause 'Archive Stopped's etc. causing problems in our system

Ability to outsource thousands of students connecting to our tutors.

What do you like best about the product?
We engaged with Nexmo to add an important SMS capability to our health application. During the early engagement, we were immediately connected with people with the right technical know-how to ensure our project would start on the right track. I would recommend their services and product to anyone with application integration needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although there is good documentation for Nexmo's international support, I think this could be displayed more prominently during the sign-up and demo process.
Particularly, per-country recommendations for use of virtual numbers vs. shortcodes etc would be useful. Supply best practice information - not just what is supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Custom two factor authentication, with OTP delivered via SMS

What do you like best about the product?
Nexmo just delivers. We haven't used any of the more fancy stuff, but we did use competetitors and some of them just don't deliver the messages or do so with significant delays.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if we could add a separate email address to send the invoices to. Our main contact is a tech and he has to forward all the billing info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Nexmo messaging for UP/DOWN notifications to our ops team and sending alerts about prio tickets to stakeholders.

What do you like best about the product?
The communications ecosystem could be quite taxing with multiple carriers and volatility with their services and pricing. Nexmo ensures that none of this affects our business. Nexmo's infrastructure is also quite robust which is evident from excellent API latencies that we observe when we use their services.

Nexmo's global and local leadership team is invested in the success of our business and goes the extra mile to help us on various initiatives, by getting the right professionals to work with us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't experienced any major red flags in my close to 2 years of using Nexmo for SMS, Calls, etc. One thing that Nexmo could improve on is to generalize various customer requirements and build them into the service, so that it is available for customers across the board. This is more preferable than asking thousands of customers to change their implementation at short notice, which totally beats the purpose of using an SMS service provider who can abstract out the complexities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are primarily using Nexmo as a CPaaS service provider to help integrate SMS and Voice support with our services for various needs like One Time Passwords, Transactional Notifications, Text to speech calls, etc.

Solid messaging API

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Nexmo for years for SMS sending from my apps, and its been rock solid, with very fast response times throughout all the period.
I also like their website is clear and concise , and its very easy to find relevant information.
Last but not least, their pricing is quite competitive for years already.
The few support cases I opened throughout the years were always taken care of in a matter of hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to dislike in Nexmo. My only request could be to add more options/formats to the analytics reports, but that's far from a dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Nexmo to send SMS from my html5 apps. The implementation took me a few minutes, and I like the fact it's been so responsive and fast for years it feels its a API you can trust.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy implementation, good price, easy to find yourself in website

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to integrate. Straight forward documentation. The platform is constantly being improved. International reach is great.

No immediate downside. It's stable. It compares to other similar text messaging api solutions.

We're using the dynamic text phone number solution, and standard text messaging.
