Experience of using Git Gaurdian
What do you like best about the product?
It gives me an alert every time any sensitive issue takes place with my account,so it's very helpful for every developer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think until know I didn't find anything issue with GitGuardian.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me by detecting my secret credentials every time when they are exposed publicly.

Gitguardian is very helpful. it helps to keep secret a secret!
What do you like best about the product?
It scans for any vulnerability and warns which helps to keep our applications secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can't remove anything which is a good thing. Sometimes I get false alarm too(if we use dummy tokens)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By providing warnings about any insecure keys or tokens that are shared, this feature helps to maintain the security of the code.

What do you like best about the product?
GitGuardian is a lifesaver for developers like me. Its automated secrets detection and quick remediation take away the worry of accidentally exposing sensitive information. I love how it keeps an eye on outdated or vulnerable packages, adding an extra layer of security to my projects. GitGuardian is simple, effective, and a must-have for stress-free coding
What do you dislike about the product?
There are occasional false alarms for secret leaks in simple text, which can be a bit distracting. It would be beneficial to refine the detection logic. Additionally, while functional, the user interface could be more user-friendly. Streamlining the UI would make the overall experience more seamless

What do you like best about the product?
When secret text was added to github, GitGuardin was quick to spot it and notify us. Event though it was releated to our test env for internal purpose, but getting to know the issue and thus we acting on it fast was valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now we have not observed anything that can be considered as cons / dislike

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it finds secrets as soon as they're commited and pushed! It integrates with Git so I can see who wrote the commit, and I can easily assign the issue to them and track its status from creation to resolution. The categorization and validation features are awesome, and the pre-commit hooks that prevent secrets from being committed in the first place are awesome too! Integrations with Discord and Slack are awesome too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints about GitGuardian whatsoever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GitGuardian helps us find secrets that have been committed, rotate them and remove them from Git. It helps us track the issues from end-to-end, and it's commit hook integration even helps me prevent my team from committing secrets in the first place!
The powers of git guardian
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I've made mistakes where I've exposed api keys a couple of times, and immidiately got an email by git guardian saying that I've exposed a secret. There is a great UI to work with, where you can say if it's a false positive, if it's resolved, if it's a secret but you want it public etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I am not wrong, git guardian is fulfilling it's purpose. It's supposed to protect me and my secrets. I have no dislikes about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving my unintended security leaks. Which is really, really important. I've once uploaded my cloudinary api keys to github, and wouldn't notice if I didn't receive an email from gitguardian. Now hat's some good service!!
