Palo Alto Networks Cloud NGFW Review
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of integration with public cloud providers such as AWS and MS Azure.
We had a multi-cloud setup at a previous organisation and Palo Alto NGFW made our lives a lot easier.
It's deep threat protection is also something that I consider top notch and with advanced packet filtering, you wouldn't need to invest in a separate sniffing tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's really expensive.
Organisations have to weigh the pro's and cons of the expense and the ROI at a strategic level.
If the organisation has team expertise, then there are suite of applications that can be stitched together to create a holistic security setup for lower costs compared to this solution.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily it's solving the age old issue of having to maintain multiple services to do the same thing.
It unifies firewall security with advanced features like deep threat protection and advanced packet filtering all rolled into one at a centralised level.

Ease of use, everything is in plan sight.

More in depth user guides would be nice.

It is very easy to learn, and uncomplicates a lot of the issues that are caused with other solutions

The best part is the easier implementation of the configuration and ease of use for any additional changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the customers/clients need to be more aware of the offering. Only after the aws marketplace page I had some confidence from the other end
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The basics of security offered in AWS needs setup which can be cumbersome and on the top of it, it is difficult to debug and good chance of missing the rule you need to configure correctly.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that it is incredible robust & user-friendly, especially for organisations looking to secure their cloud environments. One of the most useful feature is the ability to seamlessly integrate next-generation firewall capabilities into public cloud infrastructure like AWS. Key upsides are -

What do you dislike about the product?
While Palo Alti Netwroks Cloud NGFW offers excellent security capabilities, few downsides for me are -
1) Costs
2) Getting the most out of advanced features may require additional training
3) In certain high traffic scenarios, there can be occasional latency issues.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the critical issue of securing cloud environments against modern cyber threats without adding complexity or additinal operational overheads. It helps by providing enterprise grade security. Also, solves the issues of seamlessly integrating with cloud platforms like AWS which makes it very easy for organisations to use & deploy. For me, Palo helped when in my organisation we were migrating a critical infrastruce to AWS. Palo helped us block malicious traffic & thus saved time & help us focus on optimising the application with protected security.

The professionalism first of all, because when i encountered with them, they treat me in a very polite manner and answered to all of my questions just so everything will be clear for me

Not that i disliked something in particular, but you can aleays improve in all metrics definetely, but for me experience i have nothing to hold you against

When i encountered issues with the utilization and i was not sure about some steps that i did, i wanted to contact you guys to make sure it was the correct manner of doing things

The price you need to pay for it. And the add ons.

The attacks for my cloud environment, securing the access to servers and from the servers.
I personally love using Palo Alto Network Cloud NGFW.

To name a few features I like best about it are it's deep security integration, ease of deployment, scalability, advanced threat prevention.

A few things I dislike about it are the learning curve, complexity in configuration, limited customization.

Traditional firewalls are often ill-suited for dynamic, distributed cloud environment but Cloud NGFW is designed to integrate seamlessly with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure thus reducing the complexity and ensuring native compatibility.
