I'm using Algolia Search and Beta Answers
What do you like best about the product?
Algolia has always been a product to use for better search results, i.e. search applications that required NLP-assisted search.
Now, with Algolia Answers, one has access to ML/NLP search results i.e. cognitive search.
Additionally, Algolia offers a turnkey cloud search solution, with one's indices stored across three or more geographically distributed cloud instances.
I would definitely recommend Algolia.

What do you dislike about the product?
As always, pricing can be an issue, but with long term contracts, pricing becomes less of an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cognitive Search.

Build search engines IN A GREAT WAY!
What do you like best about the product?
Algolia works for me because I get to construct an optimized search engine to look for real estates involving several filters and parameters.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had trouble learning how to use it, I think sometimes I had issues with the internals and the quick support, too much to read.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Algolia impacted our work by providing a very good search engine to our customers.

You should or can look for help at stack exchange or blogs so they can provide tips for better use of this tool.
Best search library for business and personal websites
What do you like best about the product?
I was searching for a fast module that could easily integrate with my personal React-GatsbyJs website, that could integrate with Contentful and update searchable material via webhooks; Gatsby docs make the overall process easy for me and for my development team, in addiction Algolia platform is easy to use and it's the best described module to integrate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find many dislikes about Algolia, because the Free tier is made for someone like me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Algolia and React Instant Search, a pre-made component, I can provide the best experience for users of my webapplication.

One of the qualities that stands out the most about the functionalities of this software is its extensive search speeds, which are extremely fast, which allows better management when conducting these investigations, in order to guarantee productivity, when we go to time that we use to determine a factor found through this very innovative and efficient system, without excluding that it maintains an incredible technical support team, so that all users can solve their problems or doubts presented in this server, in a fast way, with quality and very surprising, in its response time.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can consider that it is very difficult to scale the product in a straight line, for a simpler and more direct knowledge, when we are going to use this software, since its functionalities are somewhat steep and difficult to understand, because its complex determinations are they are extensive and require a prudent and advanced understanding to start operating this system in its entirety, without excluding that it is divided into different functional packages, and most of them are very expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Algolia throughout our organization, for a fundamental objective, which is to promote the searches that all our registered users to the platforms we have, in other words, it should be noted that we take advantage of the speed and efficiency that this software offers to improve in large quantities the experience of each of the operators who navigate through the instances that we maintain at our own disposal, mainly when it comes to searching for different types of records.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If in your development departments, you have dedicated members, who have the advanced and technical knowledge to delve into the documentation that Algolia contains, to discover what makes it work, this product may be the best for you and your company, since it acquires unique characteristics necessary to establish efficient jobs, because the framework of this system is extremely powerful and allows searches to be instantaneous, so that it can provide its users with results at lightning-fast and unusual speeds.

What do you like best about the product?
The best available solution to configure the search. Algolia presents visual search results that are attractive as well as being very fast in terms of displaying search results. The dashboard is very modern, like the brand, and offers a fairly comprehensive analysis. It is very easy to configure.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations on the size of the record and the size of the facet. It also doesn't allow you to test based on the hypothetical user's geographic location, the price can go up very quickly if the outbound subscription is exceeded, it doesn't support too many advanced skills either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits are a great user experience in terms of performance and prioritization of results. It has great customization features and that greatly helps board advisers to manage accounts. With Algolia we solve the problem of returning the appropriate combination in minutes, it has allowed us to index their respective data for each user so that they can obtain fast results.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend using this to manage your jobs and process large amounts of data quickly, we have been able to quickly execute several developer efficiency efforts.
Best Search experience and Auto-Suggestion Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Facet filter feature is the best that Algolia provides out of the box.
Searches are very swift and I like the feature a lot.
Facet filters are useful when we have categorised search.
Like how Algolia provides suggestions even in its settings page while typing out the keys for a record

What do you dislike about the product?
Algolia matches sub-string by default,
if there was an option to match query with a full word or a sub-string that would be great,
this would give developers the power to flip the option on or off depending on a condition programatically.
I would like to see this feature in near future, and can't wait to implement it.

Alogolia is a great search engine, it contains all exciting and important features out of the box.
The few things that aloglia can add to make its users even more exciting is adding an even more easier front-end framework API integration.
This would help developers make swift and attractive search bar and provide better suggestions all throughout their App

Scalable: It has the capacity to hold from 1 to many records (tested with catalog size of 100000 products)
Easy to integrate: For many e-commerce platforms, it comes with a plugin which is super easy to configure.
Search modification: You can define the synonyms and check the empty search results for which customers are looking for on your store.
Redirection: You can use the redirection rule to move user to a particular page on a search for a particular search keyword.

Higher Pricing: Recently there is a change in the pricing model which I think might not be liked by many small business owners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compare to the default search / other search engines, the experience of integrating Algolia was smooth. It is also very fast in terms of showing search results. The indexes are really powerful and get updated really quickly. No matter, how many numbers of products your store having, Algolia's performance does not get down. We have implemented it in different size projects from low traffic to heavy traffic and the results are amazing. The good thing here is that if you have storefronts like Magento or Shopify, or many big names, algolia provides easy plugins which can help to integrate your store faster.

Super fast , simple and flexible searching solution for all searching needs.

Can't really fault this service, absolutely fantastic all round.

We're making it easier than ever to search for through a large catalogue of products in a snap.
Excellent Customer Support, pricing, and flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
Algolia’s customer support responds quickly. They would do their best to remedy the issue or find a workaround.
They would even create simulations for you to demonstrate before implementing the custom change.
The pricing works for start up like our that have low resources. We are not an eCommerce site. We just needed Aloglia for users to search from our list of universities.
Their dashboard is easy to navigate. Their custom features and documentation is easy to understand.

Wish there was support for more languages and support for features that caters to searching in a foreign language.
For example some Taiwanese users uses phonetics characters Algolia can't understand this language leading to no search results.
It doesn't let you test based on the geo location of hypothetical user. Our search is optimized for geo location. So a user in China enters "University" then "University of china" would appear instead of "university of england" where I am based. It would be great if we can enter the hypothetical geo location

We don't have to build our own search engine. The service is affordable and the performance is good enough for our users.
We currently have no research result of 3% this use to be 7% . There Analytics reports provided by Algolia helped me minimize no search outcomes.

Always compare their support performance with others. Excellent support is essential. According to our developers it was very easy to implement but do check with your developers if it fits your database system.
