My first Algolia Integration for latamlink.io
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is amazing to find content on a website, especially if your website is focused on bringing documentation to final users about a specific tool, framework, language or any specific activity that needs several files to describe it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that the inclusion of the indexing file in GitHub could be more automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I included Algolia to help users of latamlink.io find what they are looking for in a rapid and a concisely way.
The indexing engine is powerful and updates constantly, this is the thing I love the most.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's easy to use and it provides a really useful tools for your website visitors when they want to point to a specific content. I like the suggestion when you are typing and I like the look feel of the implementation in docusaurus 2.

Algolia is a really powerful and fast search engine.
What do you like best about the product?
We can integrate Algolia search with Laravel framework. It's pretty straight forward if you don't need special settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
The document was not clear when I was doing further settings for integration. I hope it can include more complex examples.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily added site-wide search functionality to our website without thinking complex algorithm for searching
Great service! It's easy to use and configure.
What do you like best about the product?
The search results are accurate and are fast. The analytics for what queries are not getting results and what documents get the most hits is nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way that the system computes how many credits you are using is pretty confusing. Better clarity around how credits are counted would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have extensive internal documentation but our employees have a hard time finding the doc they need. We have indexed all of our docs into Algolia and use that to power automation so employees can self-service support requests.

The ease and efficiency of the system, in adittion to its speed

I don't really dislike anything about Algolia. But I think the NEW payment system they implemente is a bit hard to digest.

With algolia I list all the information in react Native applications
Search done right, fast and simple to build an index of searchable content, a must have!
What do you like best about the product?
Search has been complicated for a long time, Google fixed how we search the web. Algolia has fixed how we search websites for content products and more. The indices are simple to create and configure. You have control over the relevancy of the content, and can even build custom algorithms. The search results are returned in milliseconds.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything I dislike, Algolia is built to return fast and relevant results for your content which you index.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Indexing blog content and making it easily searchable on the web.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When you have indexed your content before customizing your search client. Adjust your relevancy settings etc in the UI and test searches in the UI, when results are returning what you expect backup your settings then begin client-side work and double-check what's returned in your browsers network tab matches the results in the UI

The dashboard is organised in a very ergonomique way wich allows even non technically-literate users to be able to easily their integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The more advanced api documentation can be a bit lacking at times

We use algolia for in a wide range of applications, from customer facing search bars to employee files and stock management.

Their docs are the best I’ve ever encountered. Makes it super easy to get a robust search up and running in no time.

Some of their tract components don’t support hooks yet.

Creating a dope search experience for our users. It also doubles as our autocomplete for mentions

What do you like best about the product?
Algolia is amazingly simple for devs to implement. We roll it out to nearly all the websites we build. Once deployed we never have to worry about search. It's crazy fast, crazy accurate and a real pleasure to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Algolia needs to work a bit on their customer support. They can somewhat a bit slow or hard to reach. But luckily when they solve your issue, they do it right. Also they use to have a great WP plugin but they discontinued it. It was a great solution but they favor dev's to build their own solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use to roll out solutions like Apache Solr for search and while it is powerful, it requires so much work to put in place and customize to your needs. Now we can roll out powerful search in 1/10th of the time it use to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want something powerful and fast without the complication of lengthy research to find the right product then look at Algolia. Remember the saying "nobody gets fired for buying IBM"? Same should go for picking Algolia for product search.
Ideal web search platform
What do you like best about the product?
Algolia is what I was looking for, it provides some pretty good search experience terms. I like that it is very easy to use and add information, the interface is easy to use, and the documentation is clear. It represents a major advance over the original search tool, it is hosted, flexible, and scales very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Few details present, it is a good tool. The cost is a bit high, plus there are customization issues without development help. Size limitations are a big problem and splitting larger objects into a single entity seems like something that should be managed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This great tool that helps to improve the search capabilities of your website. Easy to use, easy to customize and with excellent support, the advantage of using algolia is that my website users can enjoy a quick search, we use search as the main navigation on our agency's landing page.

We use it to search for products and users, with an incredible response, searches are fast and that makes people who use it happy.

With Algolia we can highlight in this regard that very little infrastructure is needed to exercise the software in its most splendid totality, which is useful from smaller companies to those with greater economic development, as well as in productivity, which are the Larger, this software can be used directly from the client or from different services, in other outstanding aspects, it should be noted that it is very reliable, since it takes very little time for inactivity, including that the responses are totally fast and good.

The api that contains this design, based on searches, is somewhat confusing, in some aspects that are relevant to the software, mentioning that the user interface does not do a good job according to, to help you define your most prevalent queries to the system, which is not an effective tool to resolve doubts, this is when we go to the support that Algolia contains on its main page, previously highlighting that the system is expensive.

Algolia is a very important resource for us, for which we use it in the vast majority of the entire organization, more than all in the departments that are based on development, they use it as an API to search for different entities of some system in particular, including that we also use it to promote the search of all our users, in the fundamental platform that we have at our disposal, taking advantage of the speed and efficiency that this system offers, highlighting that it greatly improves the experience of the operators of our website.

If you have in some of your departments a dedicated developer, who has the technical knowledge, to deepen the Algolia documentation to discover what makes it work, this is the product without any doubt for you, the search framework of this software It is totally powerful, in every aspect that it chooses in its programming, because it makes investigations instantaneous and gives the users of your website results at breakneck speeds.
